Bottle from Bibendum. When I think of Italian food and drink my mind is filled with images of hot-tempered arm-waving, passionate chefs, fresh ripe tomatoes, oven-baked pizzas, bunches of newly cut herbs and burgeoning plates of antipasti drizzled in the purest olive oil. Never once have I ever associated Italy with a pale lager, and after having had the misfortune of putting this in my mouth, I never will.

Thanks crushinator, ultimately your folks for the Italian version. Pours a pale yellow lager, with some malt and cheesy aroma. A lot of air bubbles head, that recede quickly. Easy drinking, kind of watery mouthfeel. Smooth in its pale yellow lagery way.

Slight spicy fruity nose. Minimal head, straw color. Mild fruity sweetness the spicy hops deliver balance. Good tight bubbles, nice balance. Really decent basic lager.

Bottle, Crispy yellow appearance with a white head. Smells of metal, hops. Doesnt actually taste much of anything, tiny hoppy flavor with a some corn.

Bottle green, 330 ml
Appearance: Body is very bright strawy, classic piss mixed with water. Head is initially small, like in fizzy drink and very quickly diminishing, beer look like piss with water. Head is not in fact present so it’s colour is not a point, body is sparkling, clear, light yellowish, very pale colour of body.
Aroma: Strong hoppy skunkness and cigarette smoke of the cheapest kind, metal, rust.
Flavour: Front is like old, sweaty sock, hoppy skunkness violates and rapes your mouth, taste is horrible, after a first sip comes an aftertaste that is exterme bitterness and salt accid taste that make your mouth feel parched, starring for water and sick like after strong drinking and hangover. Finish is long and terrible, bitter and a bit nasty.
Palate: Body is light, texture is wattery, carbonation is soft on palate, finish feel is chalky like stuffed mouth with chalk or other dry things. I give him 2 for overall note only because it is tasted in Żywiec Porter glass.

Too corny, I’m not a fan of beers, especially mid-range priced ones, that are only tasty when freezing cold.

Drank plenty of this in Italy- tasted great at the time, then i came home and it wasn’t the same. It never is.. Pours a clear golden, with a white top. Taste is mildly bitter, with noticeable corn throughout the taste. finishes light.

Aroma is yeasty but nothing that says wow. looks light yellowish with a small head. the taste is refreshing with a note of citrus but seems like i was drinking san pellegrino instead of beer. Alright carbonation in the mouth. overall its an okay flavorless summer/vacation type beer but not a beer i would drink.

330ml bottle, 5.1% a/v Gift from a friend Pours light gold, with a decent white head. Smells exactly like Corona, same skunky, slightly hoppy smell. Tastes sweet, with a bit of a fruitness and a hit of citrus, fairly watery beer. Aftertaste however is pretty clean which is good.
