Taste: Refreshing fruity, semi sweet blackberry, juicy thirst quencher, with clean finish. Wild berry and malt nose. Reddish/Purple hue, clear with a tall pinkish foam head and ringed lace. Not overly hoppy, a bit candy fruit.

UPDATED: DEC 29, 2017 Tap at Jungle Jim's - Eastgate. Poured clear red amber color with an average off-white frothy head that lasted with good lacing. Moderate berry balanced aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium berry bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. This is a good beer.

Draft @ Oskar Blues Boulder, Boulder CO. Pours a hazy pale red color with a small white head. Has a fruity blackberry aroma with weak hoppy hints. Fruity malty slightly sweetish blackberry hoppy flavor. Has a fruity malty sweetish blackberry finish.

Pours a clear, dark red, maybe a little purple actually, with a full, bubbly, light pink head that quickly fades. It looked pretty cool for a moment. The aroma is practically nonexistent unfortunately, as I get just a trace of blackberry. Taste is dry. Its a little bitter and is on the sweet side. I expected heavy blackberry and I wasn't disappointed. Undertones are bread, grapefruit, and very light herbal hops. Long and potent blackberry finish. Medium bodied and with a slick texture. This isn't really my style, but it does taste good. I'd think of this as a dessert beer and be happy with just one.

A pretty nice IPA. Some subtle fruit flavors. Mild, sweet body. It's worth a try.

12oz can from ck1, thanks! Lovely reddish purple pour with a bit of an pinkish-white head. Aroma has juicy fruits and berries. Almost wine cooler-ish. Taste has berries and sweet fruits, with maybe some sweet malts in the back. Lighter than medium bodied with solid carbonation. The blend is good and there is little alcohol presence. Finishes berry sweet. Shrug? The blackberry presence is solid, and tasty. Overall as a brew, this does not have much body to it. Thanks for the tick! 12.7

12 oz. can. Pours a thick, well retained, tiny bubbled, ivory head, with moderate lacing, over a clear, copper (SRM 14) body......nose is heavy blackberry, minimal malts, mild hops, balance to the fruit.......taste is moderately sweet, heavy blackberry, mild tartness with hints of fruit sourness, finishing almost dry with light bitterness.......mouth feel, medium light body, no alcohol, moderate carbonation, light astringency. The base IPA is very light and almost completely hidden by the blackberry. It is closer to a Golden or Blonde the was it comes through. The fruit addition is quite nice but the base beer is way off style. Rating above to enjoyment, below to true style. Both the malt and hop backbones need major re-work. BJCP 5/4/8/4/5

12 oz. can. Pours dark, clear, ruby color, with a small, off-white head. Bright blackberry pie aroma, with some cream, juniper, and butterscotch. Sweet and fruity, with a mild bitterness in the finish. Light to medium body, with a creamy and smooth mouthfeel. This is a nicely done, fruit IPA. Well balanced, and the fruit and hops play well together.

Clear pinkish copper hue with a thin foamy light pink head. Smooth fruity blackberry nose with a nice piney-ish bitterness on the nose. Semisweet berry juice flavor with earthy fruity bitterness with a sweet blackberry finish. Really pleasant but one dimensional.
