Crafted with a blend of seven American hops and a perfect balance of malty goodness, this ale’s aggressive flavor lingers like a four day old house guest. Brewed with 100% American 2-row malt, this hop goodness gets a front cabin seat on a no-expense paid dru hopping. Aromas of apricot and citrus fruits accompany a potent dank and earthy nose and body.

On tap @ beer exchange. Dark golden pour. Taste is floral, hoppy, with a slightly bitter finish. First beer from this brewery, quite impressed.

Attractive amber color out of the growler with a foamy off white head. Nice hoppy nose with some grapefruit, tropical fruit and lots of resin. Lots of caramel sweetness in the taste with a syrupy mouth feel. Hop flavors resin, red grapefruit and tropical fruit sweetness. A bit salty in the finish. Okay IIPA.

64 oz. growler from the brewery. Pours a hazy orange with a thick white head. Aroma of mild pine, lots of citrus peel and citrus fruit, some pulp, notes of apricot and dried fruits. Flavor is fairly bitter, not notably so, but bitter enough where I wouldn’t question that it’s a double ipa. Drinks a bit smaller than most, which is reflected by the ABV. Medium bodied, average carbonation, finishes fruity. Solid, decent, drinkable, but could use a bit more.

ICEatALAMO (1357) - Troy, Michigan, USA - OCT 3, 2013
Draft. The color is light like a normal lager. The aroma is full of hops. The taste has some interesting light fruit notes. Not overly hoppy or boozy. A very different iipa. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pint on draft at brewery. Golden hue that is a bit cloudy. Weak nose, but does have floral and citrus notes. Excellent hoppiness, citrus and earthy. Great feel and lingering flavor make this a very good beer.

Pineapple skin brown pour into mason jar for midday drink at Stella’s in Grand Rapids offers minimal cap. Scents of grapefruit & citrus rind. Brisk on the tongue. Highly carbonated. Good mix of edgy hops & brisk bitterness while malt is mostly silent. Tasty & refreshing. Pairs fantastically with bacon fat popcorn on menu.

b3shine (9257) - Indiana, USA - AUG 30, 2013
Draft to pint. Looks good; a slightly hazy apricot with thin off-white lacing. Smells and tastes of juicy hops with an apricot flavor presence as well and a medium-bodied pale malt backbone. Nice on the palate. Enjoyable.

Very light in color for a double ipa. Fair aroma with a pleasant hoppy finish. Notes of apricot and citrus.

Had this on draft at the Perrin brewery. Love it. Vanilla and coconut hints. Never had that in a double IPA. Clear orange. Unique and awesome
