A crisp, refreshing, and always sessionable ale with a hint of bee hive sweetness and a light, clean, malt character. Urban Dictionary defines sessionable as: "the characteristic of an alcoholic drink which is suitable for a lengthy drinking session". Perrin Gold rocks 2 row barley, wheat and German Noble, Magnum and Hallertau hops.

On tap @ beer exchange. Pours a deep golden. Taste is grainy, corn, very sweet. Bit of a skunky european pilsner taste.

12 fl oz can. Pours hazy yellow, small white head. Aroma is grassy. Bitter, grassy, straw and slight cornish. Medium dry and grassy finish.

Decent can. Very pale and clear. Big, white, tapioca pudding head that dissipates pretty quickly. Smell is just ’beer’ - lagery, with continental hops, not strongly malty, yeasty or hoppy, but the mix. Very light flavor, a little sweet, a little sour with some lemony/caper notes. There are off malt notes here - something slightly stale, oversparged, Body is light, carbonation is fine grained, carbo retention could be better. Capers and a light astringency in the lightly sweet finish. Not bad, but nothing here to suggest that I should pay the premium over a better macro lager. Market Square Liquors, Tallahassee.

12 oz can. Hazy pale gold color with a large white head and very good retention. Clean and crisp taste yet a slightly flat mouthfeel, Closer to a pale lager than a golden ale. Light body and lightly sweet taste.

Tallahassee, Fl - on tap at Momo’s Pizza - Northside, Neutral aroma, some grainy accents. Sparkling, light golden pour, snow white head, light lace, Grainy flavor, no real highlights, slight breadiness, some pear fruitiness in the back end. Crisp mouthfeel.

Draft. Aroma: A bit sweet, malty, no real hop character. App: Cloudy gold, tho white head. Taste: Malty, yeast, citrus note. Palate: Full mouth feel, medium finish. Over: Decent but not great

trapped (3484) - New York, TURKEY - APR 13, 2017
Can. Pours clear pale yellow with foamy whitish head, yeast aroma, high arbonation, smooth malty taste with a bit of yeast flavor, thin body, medium malty finish. Quite a nice one.

b3shine (9072) - Indiana, USA - MAR 25, 2017
Draft to pint. Looks solid; a transparent gold with white head. Smells and tastes of mild hops and grain with a mildly semi-sweet backbone. Mouthfeel is medium light-bodied and semi-clean. A decent but unmemorable example of the style.

2015 BJCP Category: 18A Blonde Ale

AROMA: Light buttery note; touch of apple or cider. Seems to have a light caramel malt presence. Minor spicy/floral hops. 6/12

APPEARANCE: Golden/maize hue; mostly clear. Moderate white foam never completely evaporates and leaves minor lacing. 2/3

FLAVOR: Mild palette with a soft malt sweetness and distinct caramel flavor as well. There is a subtle buttery/diacetyl taste on the finish but it’s not distracting or off-putting. Hops impart gentle bitterness and a slight spicy/citrusy taste. Not very exciting but not bad. 12/20

MOUTHFEEL: Medium-light body and matching carbonation. Though smooth, it would be better crisp. Aftertaste is briefly sweet but eventually fades to dry. Feels lighter than 4.9% ABV. 2/5

OVERALL IMPRESSION: Seems a bit amateurish for a production brewery’s offering. Not bad, but it could be so much better. 5/10

Can shared at au revoir tokyo at Gremlin. Thanks Gregg! Light grainy crackery malt nose with some faint lemon in the background. Crisp and clean and light on the palate. A bit simple, but nice and dry, crisp finish.
