12oz can pours with a slightly hazy copper body that supports a dirty white head of foam. The aroma offers bitter pine hops, some floral hops, spicy hops, a dash of citrus hops and then leading into biscuit to lightly caramel malts. The taste delivers a pleasing rich hoppy depth that begins with firm bitter pine hops and then quickly gets into softer earthy hops, some spicy hops and then big floral hoppiness to midway. Just below the hops are malts to biscuit malts providing a base of operations. Toward the finish a nice citrus hop juiciness comes to the surface to help balance the bitter hops that are still hanging on. Pretty nice kind of old school IPA that I can really sink my teeth into.

Can from the brewery from my brother-in-law. The aroma is bread and hops spruce. Pours a clear copper/light brown, with a big off-white head, mostly diminishing and good lacing. The taste is bitter-sweet. The body is medium, the texture creamy, the carbonation lively and the finish bitter. Very Good!

Draft sample. Poured a clear copper color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate soft malt and earthy hop aroma. Medium to abundant body with a slickh texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy bittersweet flavor with a medium to heavy bittersweet finish of moderate to long duration. My expectations where surpassed.

Draft at the brewery. Medium burnt orange with some sticky head. Nose is citrus, floral and fruity but has a big toasty biscuity malt character. Not a bad brew but could do without all the biscuity and toasty malts that I don’t feel ever work in a hoppy beer.

Very light for the style. Flavors of caramel, orange, grain and light hops. The flavors aren?t bad, just too light for my liking. Double the ingredients and we?d likely have a pretty solid IPA.

This was pretty much exactly what I had in mind when ordering a plain ole IPA, and that’s definitely a good thing.

Draft in pint. Cloudy orange. Smooth, not bitter. Mild hops. Super fresh citrus without tartness or sourness. Drinks like a session beer. Very good!

On tap at the brewpub..... floral aroma, quite nice..... taste is more of the same, nice bitterness....palate is medium bodied, fades a little too quickly...overall a solid effort, if you are in the area stop by for a pint....silver medalist Alicia Sacramone.

Clear orange. Had this on draft at the Perrin brewery. Deep hop and floral taste. This one is GOOD. Smooth. Not bitter. Slight Carmel taste? Like a lot

Decent IPA. Has citrus and pine notes, bit of booze notes, but it is a good eber.
