The appearance was a semi-clear golden yellow color with a decent paced carbonation rising to hit a fairly easy going little white head. Coughed up some shoe string lace.
The aroma had some grassy to citrusy sweet hop quality punching a little bit of zestiness.
The flavor was somewhat zesty yet sweet with that spicy contour about it. Not much of an aftertaste but had a nice little kick of the hops in the finish.
The palate seemed to have a medium body with a decent sessionability about it. Moderate carbonation. ABV felt right.
Overall, pretty good AIPA that I could come back to.

Taster on tap at HopCat in East Lansing. Mostly clear golden color. Little hwite head. Couple loose bits of lace. Moderate bitter taste, kind of zesty light sweet. Good big citrusy hop character. Light spicy hop. Medium body. Smooth, lighter carbonation. More dry finish. Good, assertive IPA. icecold0027 (4) - Kentwood, Michigan, USA - AUG 17, 2013 does not count
Very smooth with a hoppy finish. Higher ABV with a great aroma. Great finish and aroma.

"One of the most aromatic beers we have brewed to date." Tmoney99 (15030) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - AUG 12, 2013
An exceptionally hoppy APA, with an aroma that is more similar to Hopslam than anyone would expect in this style. The flavor has some similarity too, with its solid hop component accompanied by less bitterness than might be expected. A bit too much pine/spruce like for my tastes, and the flavor lacks the fruitiness of the aroma.
IBU = 50 but seems a little higher.
M: light and airy for style: perhaps this beer’s strong point.
O: Easily recommended for hop heads.
Tap sample at MBGSF 2013. Poured clear dark copper color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate to heavy citrus hop and earthy aroma. Medium to heavy bittersweet flavor with a heavy bittersweet finish of moderate to long duration. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Solid brew. 574deadzone (1419) - North Central, Indiana, USA - JUL 14, 2013
On tap. Pours a hazy dark gold with an eggshell head. Big pine and grapefruit on the nose along with plenty of hearty yeast. Somewhat sweet, more bitter. Fuller side of medium bodied, creamy, oily, with a dry, spicy hoppy finish. Good stuff. BrownALEx (459) - Portland, Michigan, USA - JUL 7, 2013
Out of a growler. Pours a nice copper orange. Awesome citrus aroma, grapefruit very pronounced. Taste is also citrus, delicious. Great interpretation of an American Pale Ale. Must try.
