Had on tap and thought because it was Fall I’d go for it. Decent aroma but can’t get over it being pumpkin. I probably shouldn’t rate this because for a pumkin I’m sure others who like pumpkin would say it’s alright, I just cant do it. Maybe if it were a bit on the sweeter side and not leave me with dry mouth, I’d be more open to it. Pumpkin just needs to stay out of beer. My opinion only. Draft: Poured a golden with white head. Aroma was spicy pumpkin. Taste was pumpkin, spice, and vanilla. Nice pumpkin beer! phaleslu (10748) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - MAR 2, 2016
Draft at the brewery, served in a flight. Pumpkin beer in early February? Not sure I get it. But maybe they keep it around all year, since they have 11 beers listed here and had all 11 on tap when we arrived. Anyway, it pours a clear gold color with a small white ring for a head. Notes of nutmeg, honey, pale malts, allspice, and straw. Light-bodied, with modest carbonation and a smooth, clean mouthfeel. Falls on the lighter, more subtle side of this category. brokensail (16670) - Dublin, California, USA - FEB 26, 2016
On tap @ Petaluma Hills. Clear golden beer with a white head. Smells of banana, vanilla, and clove. Soft nutmeg like aroma and flavor as well. Sweet bread dough and dinner rolls. Fair amount of biscuit maltiness, too. Light grassy bitterness on the finish. Pretty easy drinking. I guess a touch of pumpkin pie with vanilla ice cream feel to it. Tap at the Brewpub. Orange, clear, with lace. Spicy pumpkin nose, lemon. Astringent spic flavor, sweet. Overdone with the spicing. Meh.
