Tap at the brewpub in Monterey. Either they are dialing this in, or I’m too many beers in, but I like this better than the prior reviewers, by a good margin. Very dark dense brown pour with a creamy brown head. Really good roasty aroma. Cocoa, hint of dark fruit, hint of coffee. Slick palate. This is damn good.

Keg at Peter Bs, Monterey, 29/04/14.
Light black with a moderate ta covering that dissipates to a swirl and edgeing.
Nose is roast malt, chocolate, baking powder.
Taste comprises roasty tones, light coffee, cocoa powder, dark toffee.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close.
Decent enough, above average stout. GIJOE (1249) - North Berwick, Maine, USA - APR 22, 2014
This is my standard at Peter Bs. I've only had it on tap at the brewpub. It pours black with a cappuccino head. Roasted grain and rich malt to the nose. Coffee, toffee, and chocolate notes. Taste is sweet with fairly mild bitterness coming through; maybe 25 IBU. Medium bodied. Soft carbonation. Good beer.
