UPDATED: JUL 30, 2004 european crappy lager, out of a can. stinks like sour saaz hops, and there’s too much frothy white head on a super-pale body. kinda sucks, but i’m still gonna drink all of it. BückDich (5477) - McCall, Idaho, USA - MAR 23, 2004
Pellucid yellow, watery clear. Fizzy head with lots of lacing. Skunky toasted pilsner malt sweetness with a borderline unbalanced hop bitterness. The flavor is like cereal; grainy and standard. Finishes like dandelion oil. Another international lager, eh. SDbruboy (1863) - San Diego, California, USA - MAR 3, 2004
Cheap canned lager, pours nice clear golden with a moderate white head that left good lacing. Mild aroma, bit of malts and hops evident. Flavor is sweet up front in an adjunct kind of way with a decent hop bite and finish. Light body and nice carbonation. Way better than what I was expecting for $4 per six-pack of 16 oz cans. slightly skunked aroma over faint graininess..clear color..i dont know. It tastes like cheap lager, a taste that needs no explanation....Not overly offensive. slightly grainy aftertaste. not overly sweet like heineken. not bad for what it is in all actuality. The beer upon disembarking the bottle a crystalline gold color with a prodigious bright white and spumescent head, after desiccation the lace forms a thin velum like sheet to conceal the glass. Nose is sweet malt, typical pilsner crisp and fresh, start is moderately sweet and the top light. Finish is mediocre in its acidity, the hops as one would expect from a pilsner, pleasing and mild, quite dry aftertaste, drinkable but not a big hit with me.

This brew pours with a golden body topped by a thick, white, quickly disappearing head with a good amount of lacing left behind. The aroma is slightly sweet yet slightly sour with a touch of bitterness mixed in and a slight woody character. The flavor is slightly lacking but is well balanced, leaning towards woody, hoppy bitterness. The finish is slightly sour and bitter. Light bodied, smooth and dry. Ok cheap pick of the day from Trader Joe's..extremelly cheap looking can design. bac080 (398) - Bloomington, Illinois, USA - NOV 21, 2003
Actual;ly looks ok when poured into my glass..typical golden pils colour with a good sized almost creamy white head.
the aroma is ok..typical and thankfully not skunked at all
A nice just above average taste for a lager..some nice hoppiness and a taste of malt..its dry in the finish.
pretty average on the tongue.
A quite drinkabl;e lager..I must admit I was surprised..a good cheap beer for parties and BBQs.
330 ml can. 75 cents. How could I resist? JonR888710 (999) - Cochabamba, BOLIVIA - AUG 5, 2003
Looking back on the experience, it would have been a very good thing to resist.
Body looks like ginger ale with a fizzly white head. Very skunked aroma: smells like that michelob that rolled under the passenger seat last summer that you decided to drink. Taste is water, no hops or malt. Aftertaste is the same. It never ceases to amaze me how overcrowded the "piss beer" market really is jgb9348 (6517) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - AUG 4, 2003
Very light golden with a dense white head--almost no colour at all! Skunky smell, nothing in the background of the aroma. Nothing in the taste, no hops nor malt. No palate either...a pretty bad beer all-around! Don't buy this beer, but if you really want it: I split this beer with fellow ratebeerian: JonR888710 which he bought at Trader Joe's in Falls Church, Virginia.
