Aroma of grass, apple and corn. Medium amber color. Medium sweetness with a finish thatís metallic and salty. Light body that feels heavier the more you drink, feels more like a toned down US malt liquor than straight cheap lager. Dry at first, but this feature also wears off. Well priced Euroswill style lager.

Can. Clear with a fizzy white head. Cheap grain, sweet corn, lightly musty, and some lingering bitterness. Not bad for how cheap it is, could be decent swill.

Tall boy can from a friends house. tastes like an American macro with a salty aftertaste. Rather have a Busch light

This pours well with a nice color, but goes downhill. This has that odd sweet taste that is common in cheap lagers. The smell isnít much better, having the same sweet smell.

UPDATED: JAN 27, 2015 From Trader Joeís. Starts OK when it is cold. Tastes like any other pale euro lager. As it warms some stale flavors start to come through. Not fantastic at all. Serving: Can

Pour is a dull blonde with a fizzy white head. Aroma is nothing. Some pale malts I guess. Flavor does have a dry pils malt but nothing shows up after that. Finish is wet paper bag. A meh Dutch lager brewed in Germany. It cost a buck at Trader Joes.

Poured pint can from Trader Joeís into a nucleated pint glass. Clear light golden color with average white foam which dissipated quickly, leaving little lace. Neutral aroma except for some adjunct corn, but less offensive than most cheap American lagers. I donít have the metallic complaint other raters have mentioned, either. Flavor was predictable: straw, grain, mild malt, only a hint of hops bitterness. Labelled "A Dutch Style Pilsener" but itís definitely less hoppy, less pilsener malty, less complex, less dry and less carbonated than classic examples. Not bad for $.99, but thereís so much better beer out there.

16 oz can from Trader Joeís. Pours golden yellow with a pure white head. Tastes pretty much like most corn filled macro lagers with a touch of extra tin can. Not good at all.

Can: The aroma is very light and consists of hints of apple and grass. It pours a transparent gold with a soapy two finger head that quickly fades to a thin film. The flavor starts with just a touch of sweet cereal notes. The finish has very light grassiness and a hint of apple. Light bodied with lightly fizzy carbonation. Overall, itís pretty bland but inoffensive. Iím not sure why this is listed as a Pilsner instead of a Pale Lager.

A Belgian macro Iíve never heard of and picked up at Trader Joeís, Iím sure this will be great... dark clear gold, big white head, good retention and excellent lacing, really?... the nose is god awful skunk and wet grains... the taste is terrible, sweet grains with chemicals and skunk... pass
