Ughsmash (7510) - Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA - FEB 15, 2013
Canned. Poured clear, bright golden with a short-lived white head. The aroma picked up honey and toasted grains with light grassy accents.. nothing really good going on. The flavor found tangy, metallic notes on the tip of the tongue.. honey and corn sweetness followed.. a bit sour on the quasi-refreshing finish. Light-bodied and metallic on the palate.. not really offensive, but hard to like.

Pour from a 16.9 oz cab. Clear golden brew with white head and good head retention. Aroma of sour yeast and papery hops. Taste is minimal sweet malt up front with grass and wet paper notes in the finish. Starkly metallic in the first few swallows. Average palate. Nice enough but quite bland. From Trader Joe's,

UPDATED: SEP 18, 2017 I tried to be optimistic about this one, but the other reviews are right. Very little flavor, and the flavor it did have was very metallic. Not even a good hot day brew.

Can. Pours a clear pale yellow gold with a white head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has lots of sweet grains with some corn with a bit of straw supporting. Flavor is very similar with sweet grains, corn and a bit of hay and straw underlying.

Can. Golden yellow with one finger rapidly diminishing head. Honestly, I expected worse. Corn and grass. Very light hops. Definitely crappy, but not awful.

16.9 oz. can. Purchased at Trader Joes, Omaha location. Pour was very clear golden, foamy white head that disappeared in an instant. Aroma was grass, weeds, apple. Taste was watery, grassy.

kidmartinek (5007) - austin, Texas, USA - SEP 4, 2016
Gold. Dark. little to no head. Almost no carbonation. Smells gummy. Tastes flat like sweet, bitter grain. Malt liquor appeal. Germans ought to stick to German beer.

hauxe (937) - Butzbach, Hesse, GERMANY - DEC 19, 2015
Rated from old notes. Starts rich, seems promising, but then seems slightly off when going down. Weird large bubbles suggest artificial carbonation. Vague fruitiness adds some interest, but this is a disappointment.
