Little 33cl swing top pours with a crystal clear gold body that supports a white head. The mild aroma is a little malty a little bready and a little cracker like with faint hints of vague hops well off in the background. The taste has malt sweetness mixing with a touch of cracker and even graham cracker before it heads into a few fruity esters notes like apples and pears as well as a mild and vague hoppiness. Easy drinking and inoffensive.

The head was creamy with great lasting ability a bit thin on the tongue. But not bad. Sweet and bitter god balance good fruit flavor. Probably best head on beer ever. Nice bottles. Draft from brewery in koln. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

bartlebier (4214) - Belchium im Biersgau, GERMANY - APR 23, 2013
UPDATED: FEB 20, 2014 33cl fliptop picked up in REWE, Köln. - Supposedly one of the smaller brewery Kölsch, that nevertheless keeps to the dubious recipe of using both natural hops and hop extract. Result is a rather flat and undistinguishable Kölsch that tatstes less like lemonade for adults than some others. Drinkable, but a very bland and watery brew indeed. // Rerate draught 02/2014: malt aromatics shine through this is one of the sweeter Kölsch, despite the sourish edge on the palate. still with the typical clear, out-fermented yeast quality to it, but less of a prominent natural hop presence than e.g. Gaffel and Päffgen. 6/3/7/2/13 + 0,4
