12oz bottle from ericandersnavy. This is my first OK rating. Pours orange with a bright white head. Nose is sweet and lightly hopped. Taste is sweet and somewhat bitter with a decent balance of hops and malts. Doesn’t quite hit the mark but it isn’t terrible. milljam (682) - Norman, Oklahoma, USA - FEB 21, 2009
I was quite impressed with this pale ale. Aroma is nicely balanced between notes of citrus and caramel malts. Flavor is citrus initially, with a nice nutty, biscuit backbone. Finish is smooth and dry, with mild bitterness. For the flavor, abv and price, you can’t get a better deal than this. ilovedarkbeer (2741) - Arlington, Virginia, USA - FEB 13, 2009
Bottle thanks to ericandersnavy. Pours a brilliant amber color with no head. Nose is catty, and pine. Taste is bitter and awkward with a medium finish. BMan1113VR (7931) - Los Angeles, California, USA - FEB 13, 2009
Bottle thanks to ericandersnavy. Pours with a clear orange body and a small, off-white head. aroma of orangy hops and caramel. Taste is hoppy with caramel and a very clean, not bitter finish. Fizzy and dry mouthfeel. Lumpy (1802) - Carrollton, Texas, USA - FEB 13, 2009
Dark honey with a thin ring of bubbles and a patch film of bubbles. Taste-medium to high bitter, light rawness, no sweetness, not bad, not offensive, just boring.

Short, 12oz twist-off bottle. Beautiful pour. Deep copper color, white head. Sweet aroma of caramel malt, sweet honey, citrus hop, hints of chocolate. Nice malt. Flavor has a bold malt, sharp bitterness, great balance. I wish we had more of this beer locally. It is good. Finishes with some chocolate and nice hop bitterness. drfabulous (7945) - Lexington, Kentucky, USA - JAN 12, 2009
Light pale ale. Weird lemon/pledge taste that really throws the beer off. Not very good. heemer77 (5358) - Urbandale, Iowa, USA - JAN 3, 2009
Medium copper colored body with a rocky light khaki head. Aroma of decent oranges and sharp walnuts. There is also some toast. The taste is sweet with some toasted almonds and hints of citrus. A little over carbonated in my bottles. Decent, but lacking much on hops. Dogbrick (13012) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - DEC 17, 2008
Thanks to Darkover for the trade. This beer pours a clear golden orange color with a medium and fluffy off-white head that diminishes slowly. Large thin patches of lace that slide down the glass quickly. Grassy hops and grainy malt in the nose. Light to medium body with flavors of grassy hops, toasted malt and mild fruits. The finish is lightly hopped with a short malt and fruit aftertaste. Not very exciting for my first beer from OK overall.
