A mild trace of honey is lost inside this beer, which doesn't really taste of wheat at all. Lame. CrimsonGhost1971 (188) - USA - MAY 22, 2002
I could barely taste the honey but I still enjoyed the it. ;)............... MaxPower (961) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - MAY 8, 2002
I had this beer in the early 90's Had it the other day not the same beer. Petes Wicked is not the same. Pete sold the label now it sucks. seuinoz (260) - Glen Ellyn, Illinois, USA - FEB 24, 2002

This was probably my favorite honey beer. Had a lot of honey flavor, unlike some where it is just barely a hint of it. I would recommend it if you like JD or something like that.

Too damn carbonated for a wheat. Flavor was cheap and unexciting. Not your typical huge wheat head either. Damn, that is 0-2 for Pete's Brewing. One more and he's out. prpplague (247) - Euless, Texas, USA - DEC 24, 2001
not much of an aroma, but what is there is good. the flavor doesn't seem to match the catagory of honey wheat, however it is very drinkable. i can see how this is a 'love it' or 'hate it' brew. igneous1 (1538) - Davenport, Iowa, USA - NOV 24, 2001

A honey wheat that tastes like chocolate?? NOT COOL! Tastes like an inferior microbrewed red ale. Hey, if the shoe fits...
