You’ll discover Pete’s Wicked Oktoberfest’s alluring copper color, medium body and sweet, nutty aroma are great reasons to celebrate.

Re-Rate 09/01/02: 2002 version: Clear deep copper color, the head is average, the lace is decent, both are beige in color. Nose is malt, and a bit nutty sweet as is the front. Top is light, the finish is lightly acidic, a tad dry, nice hop presence, a good clean and fresh seasonal, that is well worth looking for as a late summer session beer. Ranks #612 overall in my current 1000 beer list.

Weak,I had this beer in the early 90's Had it the other day not the same beer. Petes Wicked is not the same. Pete sold the label now it sucks.

Good color and body. Goes down easy with no aftertatse.....................

Not a bad Oktoberfest. Comes in with a strong malty chocolate nose. Taste is of caramel, and finishes with a hint of chocolate. Color is a deep red amber. I found it to be a pleasant brew, although I am particular to more malt and less hop, which is beer is about.

Not the type of Oktoberfest I am used to. I like them with more bite. But not a bad Pete's product.

I have no October Fests to compare this to, but I rather enjoyed the smooth palateble flavor of this beer. It lacks a little bit of potent kick or bite, but it has a decent head, and a good crisp flavor that can be repeated in one sitting.

I was not as impressed as I had been in the past. 1998 is still in my mind their best year. Quit changing the recipe

Way too sweet and user-friendly. It's like a disco remix version of a good fest. Pete's has gone downhill since it was bought out.

I don't have many OFs to compare it to but I did find it better than the Sam Adams version.
