Toasted malt aroma. Light copper amber hue. Head dissipates quickly. Malts are nice, but this brew is on the bland side...I cant really find any hos, but who knows. Im not a big Pete's fan, and this brew is just icky.

Rated 12/30/05: Definately my favorite of the Pete’s Wicked brews. Great flavor with an even better aftertaste. I have had better octoberfest beers but this one is high up on my list. Just as good if not better than the major imports and it will save you a couple of bucks as well, thank you Pete!

Good U.S. interpretation, but it's no Sam Adams. Nutty/caramel aroma. Bitter to start with a mellowing finish.

I liked this beer better from the bottle than a glass nice amber color with a light tan lasting head nice lacing slight caramel nice mouth feel and finish.

Just your average Oktoberfest ale?..........................................

2.7
estoppel (1028) - Buffalo, New York, USA - SEP 10, 2003
Copper body, medium off-white head, malty nose with a metallic twang. Pretty weak flavor with hints of malt and that metallic twang. A hint of bitterness followed by biscuity malt in the finish. Another contract-brewed mediocrity from Pete.

Very impressive for an American "micro" if you can call Pete's that anymore. Although, on the bottle they claim that it is an ale???? Come on, your a brewer and you don't even know that an Octoberfest is a lager by definition?!?! In any case this is definitely one of America's best Octoberfests, far better than Victory's, Sam Adam's or Saranac's. Big and heady with a very good backbone.

Rockinout (966) - Kent, Ohio, USA - OCT 7, 2002
Fresh, powdery nose, thick, creamy head around the edges. Has a sweet buttery-nut- toffee taste.

Weak,I had this beer in the early 90's Had it the other day not the same beer. Petes Wicked is not the same. Pete sold the label now it sucks.
