A great beer. I always like Killianís but this ten times better. Volgon (2763) - Manchester, New Hampshire, USA - NOV 23, 2001

The best part of this beer was its color. The rest was disappointing. jayme9874 (756) - Hamburg, New York, USA - NOV 9, 2001
Pale copper, decent head and lace. Malt start and palate, slightly hoppy finish with an funky aftertaste. It smooth and drinkable but average at best.

Not impressed. Used to be a big Peteís fan. Until I tried a few more hundred beers. Now I think all the Peteís beers are week and bland. Oh well. Another $6.50 down the drain. Saad (104) - Jacksonville, North Carolina, USA - NOV 2, 2001
I expected better from Peteís brewery. joet (2604) - Wilsonville, Oregon, USA - OCT 19, 2001
A cleaner, fuller brighter Red Dog. Guslerís right -- itís better than most macros. Itís also a bit skunky... Gusler (2653) - Tucson, Arizona, USA - OCT 5, 2001
Dark amber color, large beige head, fair lace, and mild to moderate carbonation. Malt start, mild and sweet middle, a slight hop finish, also slightly dry. Once again a clean and drinkable beer, still ahead of the big 3. PhillyBeer2112 (2815) - Oviedo, Florida, USA - SEP 24, 2001
Slightly buttery and dominated by yeastiness. Best I can say is its well balanced between the malt/hops. A bit dark for a red ale.
