Pretty mediocre brew. They call it a blend of pale and wheat malts. That’s pretty accurate, although the wheat malts are weaker in this one. Golden pour with nice head. Nose and taste is mostly lightly spiced hops. Rated 7/1/02

Not as good as Sam Adams Summer Ale, but not a bad concoction. Very slight hint of lemon. Personally I think it could use a bit more. Nice color, fairly crisp but a little on the bland side. As a side note, the label differs from the one shown here and is much cooler.

Pours canary yellow, with a nice head. Definitel lemony/hoppy taste here. Finishes crisp and refreshing.

Clear light orange, grainy and malt syrup aromas. Flavor is empty, really nothing but a light grass and wheat note with a caustic moldy flavor.

pours with a decent head, some slight lemon and honey in the nose ... pours a murky golden colour .. taste shows some of the age, but does have some nice honey flavours... lacing is quite nice too ... for the $2 i paid for this sixer a good deal, but this beer is done...

Head is initially small, frothy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is clear dark yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted bread, grain), lightly hoppy (flowers, herbs, lemon). Flavor is moderately sweet, moderately acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, moderately acidic, moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Not too shabby for the style, pretty much the definition of average...light but clean aroma, fairly good balance. Could do without the lemon juice though.

Overall Impression: I haven’t this one in a long time, use to drink this on the Cape, people would always have this one in the cooler on the beach...a decently drinkable wheat ale, but not something I’ve missed...

Dark golden colour with a dense white head and trillions of small bubbles rising from the bottom. Decent aroma-malt predominant, light hop background and a subtle citrus twang. Light-bodied; Sweet flavour, citrus feeling with a velvety texture. Aftertaste is more malty than hoppy, but left mild. Overall, a decent beer, but nothing great. I bought this twelve ounce bottle at Beers of the World in Rochester, New York and sampled it on 17-October-2003.
