2.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Decent bland beer. Not much of the lemon mentioned in the label. Really no different than any other small-brewery 'lite' beer. Better than the cheap stuff, but still not that good. Watery, over-carbonated, flavorless, hopless yellow liquid.
From old tasting notes. Honey gold color. Thick foamy beige head. Fragrant lemony malt aroma. Zesty toasted malt flavor with a citrus undertone. Nice dry hop finish. generallee08 (778) - New York, USA - MAY 17, 2014
Petes Wicked Ales were some of the first craft/non-Bud style beers that started me on the road to realy good beer. This one has a light golden yellow color with a small soapy white head which fades out quickly. There is not much in the aroma except a very mild cereal like gain with a faint citrus like hops in the background. This is exactly what my tongue picks up on in the flavor which comes on a light thin palate. Overall it was just an easy drinking so so beer. Headbanger (4023) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - APR 22, 2014
12oz bottle (Old Notes)-Pours a cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma of citrus, wheat, and grain. Taste of the same. This light bodied brew was a decent attempt. hbmason (1086) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - APR 17, 2011
12 ounce bottle. Very light and crisp drinkable summer brew. The hint of lemon makes it refreshing. philbertk (1873) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JUN 3, 2010

Tangy crisp mild citrus wheat spice butter Pils thin mild sweet lager body. Tangy clean mild spicy hop lemon end. Refreshing. Light. Sampled 10/10/2003.
Pretty mediocre brew. They call it a blend of pale and wheat malts. That’s pretty accurate, although the wheat malts are weaker in this one. Golden pour with nice head. Nose and taste is mostly lightly spiced hops. Rated 7/1/02 ben4321 (6769) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - JUL 7, 2009

I haven’t this one in a long time, use to drink this on the Cape, people would always have this one in the cooler on the beach...a decently drinkable wheat ale, but not something I’ve missed...
Bottle had this in one of the carolinas. Pours a hazy golden body with a white head. Straw wheat with hints of lemon and grainy malt character, not so good. ROGUE (2216) - Lewes, Delaware, USA - FEB 5, 2009
12oz bottle. Pours to a clear golden color with a white head. The aroma is light wheat, and grain. The hop aroma is pretty much unnoticeable. The flavor is light wheat with a light spiciness and a barely detectable lemon flavor. It is light-bodied and easy drinking, nice for a hot summer day. Cletus (6368) - Connecticut, USA - JAN 6, 2009
A dry golden ale with a nice white head and some sweet bubblegum and clove like hints.
