On tap. Pours with a clear amber brown hued body with a lasting and foamy off-white head. Aromas are nutty, grainy, light pear esters, chewy caramel, and baker’s chocolate. Flavors are toasty, nutty and bready with low chocolate. Lightly spicy and herbal. Medium bodied with fuller carbonation.
OK for a brown ale. Slight malty and roasted aroma. Light brown in color. Palate had some weight but overall pretty easy to get down. Carbonation was average. Slight roasted flavor up front that left quick. Remainder was an earthy malt base with a slight hop addition. Not bad but nothing unique about it. travita (5008) - Dallas, Texas, USA - JUN 10, 2014

Clear brown pour with a sparse tan head. Standard brown ale nose - lots of malt and some nuttiness. Flavor is where this one stands out - like every Peticolas brew it is incredibly balanced and has a delicious linger that leaves you wanting more. blutt59 (6579) - Dallas, Texas, USA - APR 25, 2013
