Amber brown body with absolutely no head. Big time mint nose, caramel, herbal. Spearmint flavor (like green Wrigley’s gum), caramel and bready malts. mar (5456) - Dallas, Texas, USA - AUG 17, 2012
Cask....deep amber pour with no head. Nose is mint, toffee, and caramel. Smooth on the palate, heavy mint, eucalyptus, toffee finish. Mora2000 (6158) - McKinney, Texas, USA - AUG 17, 2012
Cask at the Holy Grail Pub in Plano.
The beer pours a reddish-brown color with no head. The aroma is full of mint, with some earthy notes and caramel malt thrown in. The flavor is more of the same. The mint really comes through strongly, but the toffee and earthy hop notes also come through. The aftertaste is cooling, like you get from mint gun. Medium mouthfeel and no carbonation. Pretty good.
