Aged? Many beers have a long maturation, but this one has only 24-36 months in oak barrels. Pale? This beer has an old gold to bronze color, rather than the burgundy more common in the breweries of West Flanders. This is the ‘mother beer,’ used in various quantities to blend with the other Petrus beers, and to give them their unique and very distinctive taste. This mother beer is rather sour with a bite like the best Brut Champagnes. A connoisseur’s delight! The only one of its kind on the U.S. market.

Clear golden/bronz color with tall white head. Aroma of citrus and yeast. Taste is medium slut with a bit odd flauvour of sourness. Refreshing to drink sour beer once in a while, but It's not my favourite beer. Ok though.

Bottle from Hopology. Hazy rich golden colour with a thick white head. Aroma is fruity berries and winey. Taste fruity and light sour. Medium to full body.

From Saveur Biere. In Teku glass. Playing Escape from the Past. Just sourness, in both nose and mouth, without much more. Low drinkability. Boring. Didnt find myself wanting to finish it after the kid wake up and had to interrupt drinking it

Su espuma es escasísima y desaparece por completo en cuestión de segundos.

Su aroma recuerda claramente a un vinagre balsámico y alguna especia como la pimienta.
En boca aparecen de forma clara manzana verde y uva.

Bottle. Large white head. Sparkling gold body. Nose is oak, green apple, floral hops, sour. Taste is sour. Some dust and oil on the mouthfeel. Dry finish.

Bottle. A very awful "beer". It is probably supposed to taste like this, but in that case it is a kind of beer you would have to grow up with... Me no like. It smells like beer from yesterday’s party

mygeekway (198) - Grodków, POLAND - AUG 21, 2017
UPDATED: AUG 21, 2017 Średnie w zapachu octowo - winne. Smakuje lepiej bardziej pod wytrawne wino, trochę octowe, skóra w domyśle. Trochę puste.

rauchbier (3939) - Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - AUG 20, 2017
Bottle, from Lidl. Gold, fluffy and lasting white head, good insistent condition. Pleasantly citric tart nose with a background wild funkiness, hints of blood and gunpowder and some woodiness. Quite soft in the mouth with an initial malty sweetness that becomes slightly acidic and fruity with a background chalky dry note and a much more muted bretty funkiness. Finish is lightly tangy and slightly sour with some dry lemon notes and a lingering puckering dryness.
