COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Aged? Many beers have a long maturation, but this one has only 24-36 months in oak barrels. Pale? This beer has an old gold to bronze color, rather than the burgundy more common in the breweries of West Flanders. This is the ‘mother beer,’ used in various quantities to blend with the other Petrus beers, and to give them their unique and very distinctive taste. This mother beer is rather sour with a bite like the best Brut Champagnes. A connoisseur’s delight! The only one of its kind on the U.S. market.

Piwo jasnozłote, klarowne. Piana szybko opada, zostawia lekki ślad na szkle. W aromacie kwaśność rodem z białego stołowego wina. W smaku podobnie. W Alkohol świetnie ukryty. Wysycenie średnie. Średnia do niskiej pełnia.

Butelka. Lekko winne, szampańskie, winogronowe. Rześkie, owocowe, moze lekko stajenne, lekko kwaskawe, nuty drewniane. Przyjemne. Lepsze od poprzedniego.

Najlepsza butelka z 6-paku. Plus do końcowej oceny.

Third on Keg in King & Co, Clapham. Clear amber beer with a small white head. Nose is sour, tart, lemon rind, white vinegar, white wine vinous, slight Champagne spritzy vinous, acidic, white apple. Taste is sharp sour, tat, with a white wine/white grape vinous note that takes the edge off the sharpness, apple tannin, white vinegar, dry mouthfeel, acidic. Very nice, with touches of a fine lambic.

Piwo barwy złotej, klarowne. Piana biała. Aromat szampana, białego wina, w tle stajnia, przyprawy (?). Smak zdecydowanie kwaśny, owocowy.

Barwa złota, idealnie klarowne. Piana mało obfita, średnie pęcherzyki, szybko opada. W aromacie szampan, wino, kwaśne cukierki, wanilia, jabłko, aromaty stajenne. Nie ma żelaza. W smaku dość mocno kwaśne w cytrynowy, ale też trochę kiszony sposób, dzikie, drewniane, lekko taniniczne. Goryczka niska. Pełnia też raczej niska. Wysycenie wysokie. Intensywne i interesujące.

micia600 (156) - Warsaw, POLAND - APR 26, 2017
Piwo barwy złotej, idealnie klarowne, piana średnio obfita, sycząca, szybko opada. W aromacie szampańsko-winna kwaśność, stajnia, trochę estrów. W smaku wspaniale - bardzo kwaśno, tanicznie, ściągająco. Goryczka na średnio-niskim poziomie, głównie w postaci właśnie tanin. Wysycenie wysokie. Alkohol dobrze ukryty. Świetny kwas.
