COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Petrus Aged Red is constructed from a base of Double Brown Ale. 15% Petrus Aged Pale is added to provide a dry character to the brew and give it a slight sour essence. Finally the brewer adds fresh cherries, which are evident in the rich thick head. Petrus Aged Red is a perfect blend of sweet and sour with a cherry undertone which makes this brew remarkably drinkable at 8.5% ABV.

Deep vanilla cherry candy notes. Deep brown with a slightly persistent light foam. Sweet and sour with notes of vanilla oak and cherry. Medium light bodied with high carbonation and a slightly sweet finish. Quite good a a wine replacement.

I’m usually not fond of aromatized beers, but this one worked pretty well on me. Generous alcohol level combined with a sweet but very present taste of cherries and red fruits, better to know what you’re going for but this is positvely good on my side. Awesome aftertaste beside that. Recommended ! APPROVED BY TAVERNY’S BLACK METAL CREW !

UPDATED: JAN 2, 2018 Tasted 2016-06-21. Deep dark red. Clear with no head. Very pleasant cherry aroma. Acidic and ever so slightly bitter. Alc well hidden. Mild to the taste. Kriek meets brown ale.

Pour is a magnificent purple and red, tiny white ring of head. Smell is cherry, leather, and weird yeast. Taste follows, bitter cherry, almost coffee, and a slight yeasty malt to it. Odd but good

0,33ml Bottle from Lidl. Piana niewielka, kolor klarowny bordowy. Zapach borówki, jagody no i zwlaszcza wisni. W smaku wisnie, glownie te owoce lecz wywulem takze inne owoce lesne. Lekko kwaskowe ale w wiekszosci slodkawe, srednio te proporcje wywarzone. Ale mimo slodkosci nie przeszkadzalo w testowaniu.

Kolor ciemny rubinowy, klarowny. Piana be?owo ró?owa, wysoka, drobno p?cherzykowa, trwa?a, przepi?knie zdobi ?cianki. Aromat: owoce, g?ównie czere?nie i wi?nie, wanilia, nieznaczne nuty drzewne. Smak: waniliowa s?odycz i kwaskowato?? od czerwonych owoców, na finiszu ka?dego ?yku lekki posmak pestkowy, drzewny. Goryczka pestkowa, wysycenie ?rednie, alkohol idealnie schowany.
