COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Petrus Aged Red is constructed from a base of Double Brown Ale. 15% Petrus Aged Pale is added to provide a dry character to the brew and give it a slight sour essence. Finally the brewer adds fresh cherries, which are evident in the rich thick head. Petrus Aged Red is a perfect blend of sweet and sour with a cherry undertone which makes this brew remarkably drinkable at 8.5% ABV.

Bottle.Got confused with Blond previously so this is my definite rating of this beer. Dark brown with a cherry flavour that dominates. Bitter/sour flavour gives it an edge. Takes some getting use to but overall I really enjoyed it.

Butelka 330ml. Piekny opalizujacy wisniowy kolor z rubinowym refleksem. Piana mala, lekko rozowa, opada dosc szybko. Aromat wisni w czekoladzie, slodkie tony owocow z delikatna infuzja slodow. W smaku slodkie wisnie, czerwone owoce,beczkowo-drewniane nuty. Swietne

Ricorda la rattafià artigianale. In bocca anche liquirizia, malto, cioccalato. Finale discreto. Piacevolissima.

Clear, very dark crimson and a large, red-tainted head. Aroma of red fruits, primarily cherries, perhaps a bit of malts and chocolate but this is but a faint glimpse. Taste is very sweet, cherries and chocolate dominate, some sugar, alcohol, and wood are evident too. Medium, slick, lively. Finish is longish and introduces delicate astringency. Sourness obviously abounds throughout, though not as much as one could imagine. Overall, drinkable, sweet, not too bad - lacks refinement and precision though.

I drunk better kriek than this. It was delicious, but not so special. Once was enough.

Red and brown colored clear body and a off- white creamy head with a red glow. Heavy smell of cherries. Aroma of cherries, brown sugar, wood and alcohol. The taste is heavy sweet and light bitter but is balanced with a high alcohol percentage. Sticky texture.
