Tried from a bottle at De Garre in Brugge. Pours a lively inviting golden colour with big white head, smells of summer wheat fields, bright and lively, some hops and Belgian blonde richness. Fizzy clean flavour, almost wheaty, with the blonde richness following, and a long lasting dry hoppy bitter aftertaste. A bit different to the standard Belgian blonde, would certainly have another one. The monk on the bottle is holding the key to heaven, good beer!

Aroma is sweet and wheaty. Thin head. Color is light gold and clear. The strongest flavor I pick up is wheat. Has a slightly sweet finish. For me this would be a good lunch beer.

Aroma is a bit yeasty, but hints at sweetness. Color is a nice golden with minor carbonation visible, very inviting. Taste is again a tiny tiny bit yeasty, but nicely sweet and well balanced. A bit frothy.

330 ml bottle into chalice, bottle code 40098. Pours hazy golden orange color with small 1 finger dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings to the glass, with a decent amount of carbonation streaming up. Aromas of lemon, apple, pear, grape, herbal, earth, biscuit, toast, and tangy yeast esters. Pretty nice aromas with decent balance, strength, and complexity. Taste of apple, pear, grape, lemon, earth, herbal, toast, biscuit, and light yeast spices. Some lightly tangy fruitiness on the finish; with lingering notes of light fruits, herbal, earth, biscuit, and light yeast spiciness on the finish for a bit. Some pretty good balance in the taste. Medium carbonation and body; with a lightly slick and creamy mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with hardly any warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is a good Belgian blond ale. The yeast esters throw it off a bit; but it still has some pretty good balance and is certainly drinkable. Quite enjoyable.
