AdamChandler (5100) - Enfield, New Hampshire, USA - JAN 31, 2012
"Purchased this as a part of a variety pack of Petrus. Served into a Duvel Tulip at 40 Degrees F
A - Poured a golden haze with quite a bit of sediment floating around. The head was completely white and two fingers and subsided to a pinky height after 2 minutes.
S - Very belgian smell. Lots of bread and dry fruits like figs and maybe raisins.
T - The taste was surprising given the breadiness of the scent. It’s an interesting taste. A lot is left over after swallowing. Lots of vanilla and maltiness. It’s a dry beer for sure.
M - Heavily carbonated, pretty heavy and a solid feeling beer.
O - I’m pretty happy with this beer. It’s not an A but it’s a solid B in my book. I wouldn’t mind having it again if I can buy the bottles individually." onceblind (9890) - Denver, Colorado, USA - JAN 15, 2012
Clear golden in color with a white head that starts modestly big but shrinks to a thin cap. The smell is a little awkward...kinda dusty with biscuity yeast and a touch of honey alongside pale cereal grains. Thankfully the actual flavor is more charming. There’s loads of pale cereal grains and pale malts, but with an effervescent honey tone with some smooth yeast and raw bread tones. Not a shabby blonde. jcweaver (768) - VA Beach, Virginia, USA - JAN 8, 2012
Bottle. Pours dark golden with a small, beige head. Aroma is slightly sweet with a sour touch. Notes of fruit and light malts or wheat. Flavor is somewhat sweet with notes of light malts and fruit. Dry and slightly tart finish.

Bottled. An orange coloured beer with a whitish pool of head. A fruity aroma but with a definite buttery pukey note. It’s the same in the mouth, although the puke is a little less in your face and there’s a better fruitiness. It’s an odd beer but drinkable.

draft at Blue Monk, Buffalo. Lighter blonde pour, fruity, juicy fruit gum like aroma. Sweet malts, floral hops, juicy fruit bubblegum, light pot pourri. Fuller mouthfeel, decent not great. Spookgolds (241) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 18, 2011
Bottle from craft beer outlet. Golden pour, with a honey aroma and flavor. Not bad. tightslice (1356) - Redwood City, California, USA - DEC 6, 2011
Bottle from Total Wine, Orlando. Pours like honey, smells like honey, and tastes like honey. Isn’t there a proverb about this? Damn. suprchunk (2994) - Crestview, Florida, USA - NOV 20, 2011
Honey colored pour. Small white head that falls to just a few clusters of bubbles. No lacing, well minimal at best. A candy and wine-like mixture of aromas. Weird. It’s not bad or insulting, just different. Maybe a bit phenolic as well. Taste is almost typical for a blonde. Fruity and malty. Slight apple flavor. A nice smooth mouthfeel and sweet aftertaste. Nice overall beer. Meilby (11517) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - NOV 6, 2011
