Couleur sombre ambrée caramel, petite mousse brune. Nez fort de caramel et malt. Gout de caramel grillé, malté, un peu de sucre candy. Bonne petite pétillance. Fin de bouche un peu trop sucrée au caramel.

nephirem (600) - CROATIA - SEP 29, 2017
Bottle, 0.33l. 7% ABV. Clear deep ruby pour, thin layer of off-white head. Short retention. Quite sweet on the nose with intense caramel and candy. Strong herbal character. Medium body with slightly above average carbonation. Light palate, quite prickly. Starts of on the sweet side, a bit sugary even. Later develops into slight bitterness with a boozy touch. Aroma of belgian yeast, caramel, toffee and candy. Herbal liquor, honey. Medium lasting finish, moderately bitter and dry. Overall, textbook dubbel with nothing much to make it stand out from the crowd. That's not necessarily a bad thing, though. Good one.

Kolor - Ciemne, miedziane, przejrzyste, aromat- karmelowy, drożdżowy, herbaciany. W smaku słodowe, brak przełamania goryczką, skutkiem męczące

Nosferaticus (11) - Stalowa Wola, POLAND - SEP 14, 2017
Zapach słodki słodowy, czuć rodzynki, tofii, lekki zapach tostów. Barwa ciemno czerwona rubinowa pod światło, przejrzyste, piana gęsta w miarę obfita ale szybko znika i zostaje drobny pasek, oblepia szkło. Smak fajna słodycz słodowo-rodzynkowa, skórka od chleba, niskie wysycenie, brak goryczki. Odczucie w ustach aksamitne, posmak skórki od chleba.Piwo pite w tulipie w temperaturze 11-12°C, 20 miesięcy po terminie przydatności. ENGLISH: Aroma - sweet malty, raisiny, light toast. Appearance - dark red-ruby, clear, head frothy but fast reducing to minimal and plaster glass. Taste - medium sweet malty-raisiny, toast, bitter absence. Palate - medium body, creamy, soft carbonation. Beer serve in tulip, in 11-12°C, 20 month after date.

Bottle. Mocha head that quickly dissipates. Reddish dark oak body. Nose is dark fruits, Christmas cake, oak, alcohol, cloves, yeast, raisins, aniseed, banana. Bittersweet with a sweet finish. Well carbonated. Solid but not spectacular.

rauchbier (3926) - Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - AUG 27, 2017
Bottle, from Lidl. Red brown, thin fizzy but shortlived pale beige head and gentle condition. Sweet figgy nose with low orange citrus and a touch of roasted barley. In the mouth its quite soft and sweet with plenty of figgy fruit, some oxidised woody notes and a little earthiness, finish is short and sweet with some slight aniseed notes lingering cola fruitiness.

Flaska köpt i Paris(?). Tack Emelie! Stor maltig sötma i smaken. Ligger nära doften med massor av mörk, söt filmjölkslimpa, torkad frukt, russin, blöt kartong och brunt socker.

Zaskakująco niski poziom słodyczy. Ładnie wyeksponowane palone słody. W smaku karmel, nuty orzechowe. Fajne piwo.

Schnabelhund (108) - TAIWAN - AUG 4, 2017
Petrus Dubbel pours a beautiful hazy brown color, however, the light brown head dissipates rather quickly. Its malty nose is roasty and nutty and filled with caramel and dark chocolate goodness with hints of honey and prunes. The attack is dominated by dark chocolate, coffee, burnt sugar and rye bread crust with nicely muted sweetness, followed by a mid-palate with low-key hop notes of grass. The finish is quite long and leaves caramel and dark bread flavors and nice acidity behind. Easily the best 7 Eleven beer I’ve had so far.
