Beerenberger (1605) - Fischer, Texas, USA - JAN 24, 2013
Aroma is fruity - figs, raisins, and caramel. Pours a reddish brown with a rapidly disisapating beige head and minimal lacing. The taste is modeately sweet and like the nose, fruity (dark fruit, raisins, and figs). Also present are hints of caramel, molasses, some bready notes in the middle and a grainy finish. Medium body and medium carbonation. Overall, I found this to be a very enjoyable beer.

Flaska köpt i Paris(?). Tack Emelie! Stor maltig sötma i smaken.

W smaku karmel, nuty orzechowe. Fajne piwo.

Petrus Dubbel pours a beautiful hazy brown color, however, the light brown head dissipates rather quickly. Its malty nose is roasty and nutty and filled with caramel and dark chocolate goodness with hints of honey and prunes. The attack is dominated by dark chocolate, coffee, burnt sugar and rye bread crust with nicely muted sweetness, followed by a mid-palate with low-key hop notes of grass. The finish is quite long and leaves caramel and dark bread flavors and nice acidity behind. Easily the best 7 Eleven beer I’ve had so far.

My first Belgian beer. Very solid drink to drink in summer evening. Lovely taste, reminds childhood non-alcoholic mead.

Butelka. Wysycenie raczej wysokie. Całkiem fajne jak na Belga.
