Straling (363) - Hoensbroek, - NOV 3, 2012
On tap. Pours a dark brown/reddish colour with quick fading foam and little carbonation. Was rather on the wrong end of booze when tasting this, however must say it was very sweet, close to overly sweet. Hints of fruits and some yeast.

Kita (2270) - Koper, SLOVENIA - DEC 15, 2017
Bottle, 0.33l. Aroma of caramel, flowers, dandelion syrup, dark fruit, sherry and yeast. Clear dark brown color with thin quickly diminishing tan-like head and average sparkling appearance.
Taste starts with medium sweet caramel and dark fruit, follows by alcohol and wood, mouthfeel is smooth, while finish is mild bitter. Medium body, slick texture and lively carbonation in palate. Nice one...

Benters (100) - Leicestershire, ENGLAND - NOV 18, 2017
Pours a clear dark red-brown with average carbonation and a thin beige head. Aromas of roasted malts, some toffee and spice and rich alcoholic notes. Taste is rich, sweet with caramel and toffee flavours and slightly warming alcohol taste, followed by a dry finish which delivers a slight bitterness and spiciness. Beer is okay but not great, somewhat lacking in flavour compared to other Dubbels that I've tried.

3.2
MisoW (3664) - Bratislava, SLOVAK REPUBLIC - NOV 16, 2017

hrabren (1736) - Zagreb, CROATIA - OCT 31, 2017
UPDATED: OCT 31, 2017 0.33 l bottle I got for birthday from my family. Thanks! Shared with lovely Anja. Ruby red to brown, small diminishing off-white to tan head. Aroma is fruity, with a touch of wood and alcohol. Dried fruits, jam. Light caramel. Some spice, gingerbread. Dry, toasty or light roasty, a bit harsh. Light body, kinda watery, light finish. Metallic. Starts good, but it's not a very serious beer.

3.4

nephirem (633) - CROATIA - SEP 29, 2017
Bottle, 0.33l. 7% ABV. Clear deep ruby pour, thin layer of off-white head. Short retention. Quite sweet on the nose with intense caramel and candy. Strong herbal character.

Medium body with slightly above average carbonation. Light palate, quite prickly. Starts of on the sweet side, a bit sugary even. Later develops into slight bitterness with a boozy touch. Aroma of belgian yeast, caramel, toffee and candy. Herbal liquor, honey. Medium lasting finish, moderately bitter and dry.

Overall, textbook dubbel with nothing much to make it stand out from the crowd. That's not necessarily a bad thing, though. Good one.

2.3
kamil3ds (105) - POLAND - SEP 21, 2017
Kolor - Ciemne, miedziane, przejrzyste, aromat- karmelowy, drożdżowy, herbaciany. W smaku słodowe, brak przełamania goryczką, skutkiem męczące
