COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Dark ruby red red as wine. The style is also called the Burgundy of Flanders, and is a very typical and common beer in West Flanders
Created by a secret blend of the aged and sour mother beer with fresh brewed sweeter beer, this beer produces a sour-sweet balance, set off by the underlying bitterness of the hops. A discovery! The best in its style! Light in alcohol, exciting complex flavors and tastes come to the forefront.
Although serving cold is recommended, taking time to drink it will release more aromas towards the end of your glass.

I have a cold so this may be better than I'm tasting but it's really middle of the road for me. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Butelka 330 ml. Goryczka niska. W odczuciu średnio pełne, umiarkowanie nagazowane.

Robe trs fonce, reflets rouges. Mousse beige, bonne tenue. Armes trs peu malts, fruits rouges surtout cerises, raisin, trs vineux. Sr sans excs, lgrement sucr, trs peu amer. Corps lger, texture aqueuse. Forte carbonatation. Final court. Contrat rempli pour une vieille brune, mais peu aromatique et trs courte.

Pours a rich dark brown from a bottle. Very light funky sourness, mostly fruity maltiness. Good beer.

Bottle 0.33l. Slightly cloudy, red to brown colored. AROMA- sour cherries, dry dark fruit, wooden barrel, red wine. FLAVOR- lightly sour, dry, cherries and fruit again, barrel, red wine character. Light to medium bodied.
Great. I just love Belgian beers.

Bottle 0.33l. Hazy ruby to brown body, minimal white head. Aroma of wild and sour dark cherries, red wine, nutmeg, cherry compote. Taste is sour with slightly bitter finish and very slightly sweet base. Again many cherries, red wine, red grapes. Medium body, high carbonation.
A fuller body would fit better, but never mind, its great one! I enjoyed it so much!

Perhaps Im too unseasoned to really appreciate this. Copper color with off white head that lasts relatively long. Faint, subtle aromas of cherries and raisins and fig. Lots of red wine-like qualities in this one. Not very malty and I dont really get a lot of caramel characteristics. More like orange peel on the taste. No bitterness at all but there are some sour elements to it. Medium-full body....Im very confused.

Dark amber-brown pour with a thin, beige head. Aroma is toasty, woody and bready malt with just a hint of woodiness, some medium acetic acidity, earthy fruit and sweet floral notes. Flavor is earthy wood, a hint of roast, bready and biscuit malt, some acetic tartness and wildflower floral notes. Light bodied with slightly syrupy, soda-like feel and medium carbonation. Pretty good stuff overall, a bit on the plain side for the style.
