COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle: Filtered
A blend of 33% Petrus Aged Pale, pure barrel aged beer that has been aged for two years in oak barrels, and 67% young brown beer. In this blend, the young dark beer contributes the reddish-brown colour and the Aged Pale contributes the slightly sour flavour. Petrus Roodbruin is a typical Flemish red ale as tradition dictates.

fiulijn (20516) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 1, 2003
Dark amber color. Strong aroma; cherries and vinegar. Quite dry, not too much sour, but with a background bitter note out of place. Average Oud Bruin.

Beerhunter111 (20487) - P´Castle, GERMANY - MAY 11, 2014

Test vom 9.9.2006, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 7,3,4,1,12,4 - 4,10

Bottle split at home, 21/11/15. Rich chestnut brown with reddish hues topped with a decent beige covering. Nose is tarte red berry, light funk, spices, wood must, apple core decay. Taste comprises tarte fruit, sharp red berry, damp straw, light farmyard, cherry skin. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light acidic rise in the close. Ok Flanders red.

rlgk (18850) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - AUG 7, 2005
Amber, offwhite head. Aroma from pine and juniperberry, woody, fruitu, malty and with some grapes. Grapefruit is back in the sourish flavor, pine and some juniperberry is found too. Gives a somewhat vinous feeling.

Bottle. Ruby colour with beige head. Some sour bruin aroma. Some choc. Slightly sour in mouth. Some choc/toffee/sourness. Sourish finish. Not bad. Sweetish balance to it. Velvety in mouth. Fine.

saxo (18495) - Højbjerg, Aarhus, DENMARK - MAR 16, 2010
Bottle. Small head with short duration. Color is brown. Aroma and taste are malt, cheese, citrus and caramel. A little too much carbonation.
