COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle: Filtered
A blend of 33% Petrus Aged Pale, pure barrel aged beer that has been aged for two years in oak barrels, and 67% young brown beer. In this blend, the young dark beer contributes the reddish-brown colour and the Aged Pale contributes the slightly sour flavour. Petrus Roodbruin is a typical Flemish red ale as tradition dictates.

#200 - Woo! Dark reddish brown pour with a tan frothy head. Smells of sour dark fruits, cherries, and wood. Taste is not really sweet, not really sour but more mild than anything. There are some dark fruit flavors, some oak not much else.

Cuerpo ligero-medio.

Pours a clear, dark ruby red/brown colour with thin head. Aroma is a complex blend of roasted malts, some caramel and raisins and a balsamic vinegar like sourness. It's almost wine-like. Taste again is a blend - acidic tartness, caramel maltiness and sherry-like notes. A real mix of sweet and sour flavours. Crisp, dry finish. Enjoyable beer.

Malt sweet aroma of dates, prunes & red berries. Clear brown with a long lasting brown head. Intense sweet taste of red berries. Light body, creamy texture & average carbonation.

Bottle, 0.33l. Aroma of musty cellar, yeast, vinegar, wine marc and red fruit. Pours clear ruby brown with thin quickly diminishing creamy off-white head and sparkling appearance. Tastes light sour fruity and yeasty, follows by oak and light sweet malty notes, mouthfeel is crisp, while no bitterness is felt at finish. Light to medium body, light sticky texture and lively carbonation in palate. This one's a bit too sweet for my liking...

hohops (1096) - Kent, ENGLAND - OCT 27, 2017
Appearance- deep ruby red/dark brown, with a small beige head. Aroma- cherries, tart fruit, toffee, blackcurrant, woody malt, liqueur chocolates. Taste- sticky malt, treacle, dark fruit, cherry juice, some sweet malt, juicy fruity finish.

5. 10. 2017, Julka’s place, Ljubljana. Ico’s gift. Just a hint of pleasant souerness. Other than that an above average brew. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
