Pours dark, dark brown with a fizzy brown head. Smells generally malty without much sourness, no alcohol at all. Tastes sort of sour, but mostly just malted, and no alcohol at all on the taste. The sourness comes through on the finish, though not much. Petrus Old Bruin is medium-bodied with a wet texture and has okay mouth-carbonation. Petkus331 (389) - Redford, Michigan, USA - FEB 7, 2014
A sweet and sour aroma of flowers and apples. Appears clear light golden yellow, thin foam, but nice lace. Taste is mostly sour balanced with some sweet and slight bitterness of bubblegum and apple. Palate is a little foamy, and thinnish. Overall, this is a very good beer! Should be considered a Berlinerweise. anfractuosity (440) - - OCT 26, 2014
This beer is pretty amazing. Normally I don’t like sour beers as I find them too sour, but you can taste the wood from this, very nice! Brodzislaw (451) - POLAND - APR 17, 2015
Kolor ciemny rubinowy pod światło. Piana początkowo obfita z drobnych pęcherzy osiadła do minimalnej warstwy w czasie degustacji.
Piwo można pić i pić. Jest orzeźwiające (bardzo zbliżone do lambika), musujące.

Strong aroma with notes of tart acid and some sweet malts. Pours a reddish brown with a thin beige foam. The flavor is complex and balanced with a good vinous end. The malt gives it a smooth, woody richness that gives over to the dry fruit. Medium body, little fizz with a good, long finish.

250 ml bottle. Beautiful reddish brown body with a big off-white head. Strong and complex aroma with cellar notes, sour fruit and candy sugar with cellar notes. Flavor is a bit sweet and sour, malty, candy sugar, acidic, wood, dry fruit, roast and spicy. Very delicate and complex. onceblind (10327) - Denver, Colorado, USA - JAN 22, 2012
Clear dark dark ruby brown with a thin foamy head with lots of lace. Interesting aroma with earthy toffee and oak sourness, with a small smidgeon tof Chardonnay and toast. Flavor has a light sour tone that is packed full of flavor. Nice earthy sweet toffee with soft grape esters and a gentle oak tone. Very light chocolate cereal tones before the toffee comes in with an oaked sourness that is slightly tart but mildly refreshing. Has nice sweetness with subdued balancing bitterness.

Light sourness, somewhat malty. Slight mineral on the palate. Overall very good

Drank from a pint glass, poured from an 330ml bottle. Pours a beautiful clear brown color with plenty of light beige head. Slightly sour aromas of cherry, pears, and other fruits. Nice a complex brew that makes your tastebuds tingle, but incredibly smooth! Sissio (1726) - Orsenigo, ITALY - JUN 12, 2017
