3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
This is 50% a flemish sour ale, and 50% a Belgian Brown, I suppose. It lacks a lot of the contrasting sweet/tartness that I love so much about the Flemish Sour style. Anyway, a pleasant drink nonetheless, with a hint of the Belgian funkiness, and a tad mild.
Aroma: Sour berries.
Flavour: Sour berries and slight caramel.
Colour: reddish brown with an offwhite head. Nikokaoja (346) - Ljubljana, SLOVENIA - OCT 6, 2017

Underneath its pretty stable foam its a sour aroma of vinegar, which together with the oak tree gives a scent of woodland and fermented dark fruits. It has a little graceful character, but is most fruitful and malty to the sweat side. I taste the most tender cherries, dried dark fruits and a malt character of caramel and dark chocolate. The aroma promises a sour and sour Belgian brown, while the flavor instead offers a delicate composite fruit with a fine balance in the malt and fruit seeds. I'm pleasantly surprised and would like to buy it again. My lovely wife is world champion in homemade chocolate mousse, and here I think that this beer with its acidity will be quite satisfactory. nephirem (599) - CROATIA - SEP 28, 2017
Bottle, 0.33l. Deep ruby pour, small and short lasting off-white head. Vinegar and caramel on the nose, some candy notes.
Thin body, medium to high carbonation. Very fizzy. Moderately sour taste with subtle sugary sweetness. Some bitterness towards the finish. Aroma.... a bit all over the place. Undefined. Lots of vinegar. Some faint candy and caramel. Slight herbal touch. Yeast. Slightly acidic. Somewhat dry. Medium lasting finish.
Overall, mediocre. Drinkable but a bit disappointing. higgsbison (261) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - SEP 20, 2017
A decent example of the style. Sour raspberry notes. You are supposed to drink it cold I preferred it after it warmed up a bit

Sour aroma, almost urine. Very dry taste, no sweetness. Very nice colour, clear red-brown as the name implies. Sourness is the main driver of taste. Ok mabuzzer (896) - Hamilton, SCOTLAND - AUG 25, 2017
