EdKing (2586) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUL 21, 2017
Bottle from Lidl Brixton. Golden amber beer with a very large slightly off white head. Nose is bread, dough, yeasty, yeast funky, sugary, cereal grains, toasted grains. Taste is yeasty, biscuit malt, toasted grains, apricot, tangy yeast, bitter hop. Maybe touch too sugary? Middle of the road Belgian beer like many of the standard Petrus range.

Bottle from Lidl in a bargain mixed six-pack. Light yellow with a small ring of white head. Lemon aroma with a touch of sugary yeast. Taste is sweet, but there’s a raw grain quality that spoils it a bit. A touch of sweetener in the aftertaste. Carbonation isn’t too heavy. It’s got issues but still drinkable, even enjoyable.

szymonskc (902) - Skórcz, POLAND - JUL 13, 2017
Zapach średnio intensywny, słód, zioła, przyprawy, trawa. Kolor złoty, klarowne. Piana obfita, szybko znika, drobno i średniopęcherzykowa, lekki lacing. W smaku umiarkowana słodycz, średnia pełnia, słód, zioła, przyprawy, karmel, alkohol. Goryczka niska, wysycenie wysokie.

Bottle. A little bit grassy, floral and spicy. But then comes a lot of metallic notes. Taste the same metallic as hell.

vinivini (2417) - Gomel, BELARUS - JUL 9, 2017
Bottle 33cl. Foggy vinagradau n ale with two finger tall loud quickly deminishing head. Weak lacing. Malty and fruity aroma of low intensity. Medium body. Medium sweet malty taste. Corn, light banana, fruity yeast. Warming ending. A Tripel of second league.

Zapach: słodowość, przyprawy. Wygląd: złote, przejrzyste, piana biała, wysoka, szybko opada. Smak: słodowość, minimalna goryczka, alkohol niewyczuwalny, po chwili przyjemnie grzeje, wysokie wysycenie.

johndoughty (5449) - cheslyn hay, West Midlands, ENGLAND - JUL 1, 2017
Golden and clear with a small head.Slightly bitter with a medium body. Not as powerful as I expected. However it is a good example of its style and certainly worth trying.

0.33 bottle @ home
Clear gold color and a large, white head. Aroma of pale malts, some hay, delicate hops and yeasts. Taste is sweet, delicately bitter, yeasts and spices reemerge. Medium, creamy, average. Finish is longer than expected but by no means amazing. Overall the beer is just about standard.

SilkTork (5738) - Southampton, United Kingdom, Hampshire, ENGLAND - JUN 28, 2017
330ml dark bottle, filtered, from a mixed pack of six bought in Lidl for £6.99. I like Euro strong lagers, so I like this. I prefer a Belgian strong blonde or Tripel because there’s more flavour when the malt is fermented hot rather than cold - there is more perfume and character, and less of the unpleasant plastic hot spots of a strong lager. This is a fairly standard strong pale beer which has been fermented warm. Drinkable and inoffensive.
