750ml bottle 2015 Vintage. Pours a slightly hazy copper. On the nose, sweet dried fruit notes, light spice (nutmeg, cinnamon, ginger) vanilla, a faint hit of sweet vanilla cake, and a tiny bit of pink bubblegum. Aroma-wise, it reminds me of a bourbon barrel aged pumpkin ale, but lighter. Sweet, with spice, burnt sugar, boozy almost premium aged rum notes, almost liqueur-like notes, and a bit of vanilla that heads into Dutch honey cake, raisin, brandy, a light mineral note, more spice, and a very well rounded finish. I don't know if it was the cellaring, but this tastes WAY better than the reviews would lead you to believe. Tremendous.

Good one. Quite creamy, delicate, caramel. Bit warming, well made. It’s more than ok.

Rich Belgian yeast, excellent accompaniment for fish and soup. A bit of ageing since made, and the integration over time=terrific.

This one was cellaring for a while. Pours a clean, deep orange-amber colour with a light beige, frothy head, great retention and creamy lacing. Mild cinnamon aromas with other spices. Ginger bread and caramel malts. The alcohol is very well-hidden. So smooth and the taste is similar. Everything is nicely blended and one I could have every year. My type of winter warmer.

750ml bottle thanks to rich. Pours out a amber brown topped with a small tan head. Nose is nice rich malty sweetness a great pit fruit note and plenty belg notes. Taste is more of the heavy pit fruit rich malty sweetness and a spice. This was pretty tasty.

[8030-20160116] Bottle. Roasted fruity grains aroma. Clear, brown amber body with a big long-lasting foamy off-white head. Woody and sweet flavour is a little boozy. More fruity grains and roasted malt caramel in the flavour. Medium-full body. Good. (7/3/7/3/14) 3.4

750ml bottle. Pours a pretty huge creamy, frothy tan head that dissipates to a thin coating. Has a fairly clear, dark amber appearance. Average carbonation. Aromas of roasted malts, dried fruits, and toffee. Flavours are mainly malts, light roasted malt, yeast, raisins. Alcohol is well hidden, well balanced bitterness and sweetness. Good retention. Slight warming sensaion. Perfect winter beer.

Deep amber-brown pour with a thick white head. The nose is quite spicy
and a little bit fruity. Sweet cooked malt, toasted dates and plums
with a bit of caramel. Dark fruit and a touch of rum as well. The
spicing is notable yet well integrated. Cinnamon and nutmeg with some
nice rich malt flavours to round it out. Lovely really.

Pours dark brown with a small white ring. Aroma is light raisin, sweet malts, light plum and spice. Taste is much the same. A little thin on body and a little low on carbonation. The spice is really strong in the aftertaste.
