Bottle from Bierboutique Ølwechsel, Frankfurt. Hazy deep golden with a small head and some particles. Sweetish bready aroma. Flavours of bread, slightly spicy, hints of rye. A bit watery. Not my favourite style, but not bad as such. MiP (15920) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - AUG 6, 2010
Bottle, 4.6% bought at the brewery. Fruity aroma. Almost clear golden colour. Small white head. The flavour is OK malty, has a little rotten vegetables. Grainy finish. KimJohansen (10509) - Frederiksberg C, DENMARK - JUL 9, 2010
UPDATED: AUG 19, 2016 Clear golden with a tiny white head. Aroma had lovely fresh floral hops. Flavour was crisp with fresh floral hops. Finished dry and bitter. Lovely example for the region. Fin (10609) - Merton, Oxfordshire, England, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - JUN 30, 2010
On tap at Brauerei Pfister, Weigelshofen, during Fin and Loz’s cycle ride around villages to the South and South East of Bamberg, Germany 19-06-10 Pours gold with a very slight haze and a white head. There is a cleaner more lager like nose than the other pfister, soft in mouth, bit creamy with some vanilla, easy to get on with. Ceramic mug. Thick head. Lightly hoppy, minerally nose. Pale malts and a soft body. Herbal hops but low bitterness, as is typical for landbier. It’s easy drinking but misses the key pleasure points.

Draft @ brewpub. Served in lidded stein. Has nice thick white head with scattered lacing. Golden color. Aroma is farm fresh country beer, earthy and woody malts. Body is too thin but is a nicer beer than the Schwartz kellerbier. Not super flavorful but has nice pale malts and tastes like fresh grain kernels. Some minerals too. 50cl Bottle at In de Wildeman as öko-landbier. Clear golden yellow colour, white head. Aroma of sweet malts and light hops. Flavour is sweet, malty and light hoppy, with a light bittersweet finish. Medium bodied. Highly drinkable. omhper (25250) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - AUG 10, 2008

UPDATED: NOV 13, 2012 (draught at the brewery) Clear, deep golden colour with a medium-sized, slightly off-white foamy head. Slightly dusty, moderately sweet pale malt aroma, accompanied by shy herbal hops and a whiff of barnyard. Medium-sweet flavour; pale malt character, slightly chalky taste with herbal notes; light bodied; medium-dry malty finish with a light hoppy bitterness. Clean, but nothing special. downender (8687) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - JUL 30, 2007
Bottle from Landbierparadies, Nurnberg. Slightly cloudy, golden colour with a moderate white head. This was more like a pilsner. Aroma of hay, with a flavour of sweet malt and a semi-dry finish. Dull.
