Awesome Belgian IPA - great yeast and Hops flavors. I loved the finish and this ber was very easy and tasty drinking. Not usually a fan. Maybe I am changing. ;)
On draught. Past notes. Colour...hazy golden-apricot with a thin white head. Nose...now THAT’S Belgian!! Palate...sweet, almost cloying, with sappy hops and perky fruity notes that dance merrily across the palate. Candi sugar seems to be a player here, but I’m not sure it’s in the recipe. The finish is ultra long and quite sweet as well as sufficiently bitter. mcberko (17823) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 19, 2013
On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a clear pale yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out Belgian yeast, grassy hops, and some dry biscuity malt to back. Flavour brings out loads of Belgian yeast, lots of floral hops, and just enough biscuity malt to back. More Belgian-centric than IPA-centric. Very well-designed, but needs more of the IPA. Good stuff. BeefPocoroba (49) - Oregon, USA - MAY 18, 2013
On tap at NWIPA here in Portland. Good beer, really enjoyed it as I downed a delicious meatball sandwich at NWIPA. More of a belgian style beer than an IPA but would recommend to people who like both types of beer. troopie (2339) - Munchen an der Willamette, Oregon, USA - APR 22, 2013
Cloudy pour with white head. Hoppy/floral aroma. Full bodied with restrained hop, this is not a hop bomb. There is malt in the finish maekchu (3911) - Hirakata, JAPAN - AUG 27, 2012
On tap at the brewery. Sweet and then tart fruit aromas, citrus, lemon. Clear pale straw, thin creamy head. Mild fruit initial flavors, hops sneak out in mid palate; very well-balanced finish. Medium body. Very smooth, mildly flavorful. Very drinkable. Good interpretation of this newish style.
