Taster at brewery. Light den, fizzy carbonation, fluffy head. Yeasty aroma, taste even moreso. Light and tingly. Yeast, sourdough. zoucrew102 (2308) - - OCT 13, 2017
375ml corked bottle. Bright pear aroma with notes of Belgian yeast, clove and some banana. Pours cloudy golden colored with one finger of white head that has excellent retention and lacing. Starts with bright pear sweetness as well as spicy Belgian yeast and a bit of banana. Finishes dry and crisp with clove and black peppery spice and a hint of banana. Bright and refreshing blonde. luttonm (7077) - Seattle, Washington, USA - SEP 15, 2017
Bottle in Seattle. Great pop of the cork. Modest white foam on a clear orange (that hazes up nicely when mixing the sediment back in). Pear and clove, as described, on the nose. I would also add quince. Similar first impressions on taste. Good body, bright carbonation, with an estery yeast over heavily bready malts. Fairly dry finish. Clean, and tasty. Lacks some complexity, both in flavor and in body, but this is well done. hopdog (13315) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 27, 2017
On tap at pFriem. Poured a golden color with a medium sized head. Fruity, some spice, and yeast. Prufrockstar (2132) - Moscow, Idaho, USA - MAY 22, 2017
Draft at Slice+Biscuit. Lightly cloudy glowing gold pour, small head, minimal lacing. Belgian esters (mostly clove, pepper, fruit, bubble gum). That’s the main jam, really -- feels like a moderately strong vessel for Belgian yeast esters. Medium sweetness, light-to-medium bitterness. Full- body, thick texture, soft carbonation. Overall: I have to be honest -- I don’t really get a kick out of Belgian strong ales. Can’t really say why, it’s just this flavor profile doesn’t really push my buttons. Were I an aficionado of the style I could say something useful, but FWIW my impression is "Belgian-style blonde ale tastes like a Belgian-style blonde ale" so those of you who are serious about figuring out this beer by reading internet descriptions from randos in Idaho, just scroll right on past this one. I’ve got nothing for ya.

Estery and yeast notes with a light caramel malt body, a bit floral fruit or musky banana flavors. IndianaRed (5192) - Boise, Idaho, USA - MAY 13, 2017
On tap at the brewery in Hood River Hazy pale golden. Soft subtle Belgian yeast notes and pale malts. Lightlynhopped as well. Easy 3fourths (9377) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - DEC 25, 2016
Undated 375ml bottle pours sparkling gold with a tall and rigid white head. Malt and yeast-driven aroma shows as dried banana, hay, candy sugar, pound cake, white pepper, stinging phenolics coming across as carbonic acid. Takes some time for hops to emerge, showing as dried grass and citrus. Silky-creamy mouth feel, medium bodied, semi-sweet with fine natural carbonation and sitff and chewy malt sugar, finishing with long, sticky hop bitterness that seems overdone compared to the aromatics. It drinks like a Tripel (though strongly bitter it doesn’t smell or taste of new world hops), and the flavor balance and mouth feel are especially nice, the yeast is mostly all enjoyable (some chlorine notes seems to come and go), and malt is expressed superbly. $8...as Belgian Strong Blond
Pours a deep yellow colour with a large and rocky white head.
Nice yeasty, banana, ginger and citrus aromas. Strong but not overwhelming.
Tastes similar but balanced.more ginger and pepper.balanced by dutch apple pie.
Nice mouth feel allows the flavors but still moves the product long..semi dry finish helps.
Overall a nice simple Belgian ale Marheb (6341) - Montréal, Quebec, CANADA - AUG 2, 2016
