The great brewmasters of the Pacific Northwest are reverent of the past and its brewing traditions, but never cease to look forward, tinkering and experimenting to create flavors that are uniquely bold and new. Case-in-point, Pfriems Blonde IPA Its refreshing blast of citrus and secret ingredient (sunshine) will have you looking forward to another before even enjoying its just bitter enough finish.

Tap at the Last Drop.

Bought a growler of E9 Pales in Comparison instead of this one, probably a mistake. Nice spicy new-school hops come powerfully foward, a little bit of grapefruit juice, malts way backgrounded. Delicious.

(En ft la source): Une base juteuse orange/banane, des fleurs, des malts sucrs pales, jamais encombrant et une dlicate amertume.

On tap at the brewpub. 6.2% Light golden body topped by a durable white head that leaves a full coat of lacing on the glass. Medium-light body with medium+ carbonation. Moderately bitter, low for style, with some light malt base showing. Overly earthy and piney mix of hops for my taste, despite some citrus.

500ml brown bottle. Bottling date was 04 26 16. Pours out clear and golden with a lovely clingy sticky white cap that leaves behind loads of messy lacing. The nose has soft fruits and citrus. Light malts and big citrus in the mouth. Grapefruit and grainy malt aftertaste. Good balanced bittering. Well made, clean malts and satisfying hops.

The Yard, Seattle. Pale gold-yellow, white cream. Rich pale hop. Pine, clean. Delicious hop. Pale malt body. Excellent hoppy blonde-based IPA. Very nice.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a hazy yellow gold with medium frothy white head that lasts. The aroma is pine, dank, citrus. Medium mouth, juicy hop, grass, straw, lingering bitterness, very good.

Draft at Chucks CD. This is an interesting beer. Its more like an Imperial session IPA. Its not a session but its not a regular IPA. The malts are mild white bread and the hops are present but mild mix of rando hops. No bitterness to be felt, I am surprised the IBUs are close to 50. A floral hop note dominates but in the most laid back way possible. A cool hop treat.

Crystal clear orange. A great beer. It has a long medium/strong bitterness mixed with a dry finish. There is a lovely malt sweetness and a smooth, slick texture. Its great stuff, I could drink it all day.

Appearance: pours with a medium off white head, the beer is a slightly hazy average gold color Aroma: grass, floral, bread Taste: floral sweetness initially, has an assertive bitterness to it as well, Palate: average carbonation, medium mouthfeel, bitter aftertaste Overall: another very floral beer from Oregon, it's very good, easily drinkable but does not lack in flavors ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
