Cloudy yellow, lasting white head. Musty hop nose and palate with spicy hops in finish pdx77 (1483) - Oregon, USA - MAY 29, 2014
On draught at Fly Boy Brewing. Lightly cloudy yellow color. Aroma is slightly tart yeast and tropical citrus. Taste is tart yeast, grapefruit, passionfruit, and a touch of pine. Refreshing combo of a light Belgian and and IPA. Oakes (19742) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - APR 21, 2014
Slightly hazy blonde with a fairly big head. Aroma is spicy, lightly piney, lightly fruity, with a dash of pale malt. Lots of bitterness, herbal and dry like pilsner, touch of zwickelbier yeastiness, light floral hops late... Like a jacked up Kout 10... Really cool...seems more like an hommage to those central European hop bombs, only borrowing the IPA name to move a few more pints in the PNW. VERY GOOD IPA, KEPT ME COMING BACK FOR MORE, I JUST PUT A SIX BARREL IN MY FRIDGE AND CANT SEEM TO STOP DRINKING IT, WELL BALANCED. ONE OF MY FAVORITE IPA, LIKE THE LOW ALCOHOL, FOR CHANGE THAT WAY YOU CAN DRINK THREE OR FOUR PINTS. HELL YEAH!! Beershine (5253) - VANCOUVER, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 25, 2014
Draft at Craft. 21k golden with a whisper of haze. Delicate lacy head and tendril lace. Dry aroma invokes bay leaf. Gentle carbonation, neither soft nor hard with some pleasing granularity. Lingering grassy bitterness echoes noble hops, and in my mind this is a hoppy pilsner! I dream of beer like this. I wish there was a law that all breweries have to brew a beer like this--one that is sublimely dry with no nonsense. This beer rocks!!

2014-07-03, draught at Stateside Craft, Vancouver, 7-4-7-4-15=37
Deep blond color, hazy, with small head. Mild malt and hop aroma, a bit fruity. Soft mouthfeel, moderately sweet, with nice malt flavor, hints of toffee, light-colored caramel, strong hopping, quite fruity and reasonably resiny too.
Nice, because the malts are not heavy and dark.
2013-12-20, draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver, 7-4-7-4-15=37
Hazy blond color with compact persistent head. The hop aroma has some animal side. Smooth mouthfeel, dry but nice malt flavor in the background, strong bitterness; the hops are resiny, and a bit fruity and animal.
Good and fresh IPA.
UPDATED: DEC 18, 2013 On tap at Moon Under Water. Hazy gold with thin white head. Bright citrus, floral and grassy/grainy aroma. Crisp and well-hopped. Medium-bodied. Good bite on the finish. Not sure what distinguishes a Blond from any other type of IPA, but I know that big, bright flavour sets this particular one apart. WheatKing (1351) - Phnom Penh, CAMBODIA - NOV 29, 2013
UPDATED: APR 4, 2014 On tap at Moon Under Water, Victoria, Canada. Clear gold, dissipating white head. Nose is pine, cat pee, tangerine, hop petrol. Tastes of citrus, fairly dry and crisp. Light. The bouncy palate is the best thing about this; the whole is bigger than the sum of its parts. Suttree (6609) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - OCT 29, 2013
Hazy yellow, nice white head. Do you ever run out of unique way do describe IPA’s that aren’t that unique? It’s not bad, in fact it’s pretty good, but I am all out of adjectives.
