Taster at brewery. Medium bright golden, small ring of head. Mild hoppy aroma. Very slick and oily mouthfeel. Good malt base. Not as dank as you would expect. Reid (2697) - Salem, Oregon, USA - DEC 8, 2017
500ml bottle purchased from Lifesource Natural Grocer in Salem OR
Clear copper coloured ale with a frothy bubbly off white head. Trad!
Despite the name the nose at least is not that dank , more fruity but not bash your head in fruity. Orange rind, lemon zest and light peach. Nice.
Taste starts of with the fruit than we get the good ole PNW dankness in the end..pretty good actually.
Very nice mouth feel medium crbonation medium soft body and great aftertaste.
Reall nice beer for a good price. patricks110 (2833) - Alberta, CANADA - DEC 4, 2017
Skunky weed, grapefruit, light caramel malts, big resin and pineapple. Sticky finish; pine resin, citrus peel. The malt profile is light; caramel, toasted grains, straw. Fits the profile well. I could drink this citrus and resin heavy beer all day! Oakes (19549) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 2, 2017
Draught @ Alibi. Amber, medium head. Fruity hop nose, slight caramel and yes a bit weedy. Has a slightly caramelly malt note, chewy, piney and a bit of grapefruit. DenverLogan (1318) - North Bend, Washington, USA - NOV 23, 2017
From a 500 ml bottle into a chalice. Pours golden with head and lace. Light aroma of grains, pale malt, citrus zest. Medium carbonation and mouthfeel. Flavors of rich grains, grapefruit rind zest, pale malt, pine resin, slight toothpaste & pepper & dry finish. Overall rich, bold, satisfying for a hop head.

Clear orange with a tall white head. Lightly sweet tropical fruits, grapefruit, sweet biscuit malt, medium resinous hops. Medium bodied. Sharp and lingering bitterness with a mildly dry finish. Very nice. MNAle (242) - Minnesota, USA - NOV 13, 2017
Aroma is not very strong; earthy, fruit, and pine. Clear golden with moderately heavy carbonation. 3/4 inch tan-white, creamy head, receding slowly, leaving sticky lacing. Smooth feel, mild citrus and earthy taste, with a nicely bitter middle and finish. Earthy, citrus, and pine taste throughout. This is a very nice IPA. raphael (1311) - Portland, Oregon, USA - NOV 1, 2017
Pfriem is known for it's saisons and other less hoppy beers, but this shows they can do big IPA's as well as anyone. on tap at proper pint. well bakanced flavors of leather, oak & caramel. aromas of resin, wheat & something spicy. the alcohol is stealth. the beer is clear. balanced finish. on tap at proper pint. Bottle. Golden color and big head. Not a huge aroma but there is some tropical notes. Light bodied, but big taste. Tropical fruit, grapefruit, passionfruit, ever so slightly sweet. 7.8% is well hidden. Really good for 3.99 a bottle. BuckeyeBoy (9219) - Boise, Idaho, USA - NOV 9, 2016
500ml bottle pours out golden topped with a puffy sand head. Nose is big dank hops melons tropical fruit. Taste is more of the melons tropical notes and a call a candy sweetness.
