16.9 oz bottle. Aroma is grassy, fruity, doughy. Pours clear deep golden with a large white head with excellent retention; laces a little. Taste has a nice hoppy bitterness, some faint lemon. One of the best pilsners I’ve had. ricke49 (61) - La Pine, Oregon, USA - SEP 4, 2017
My favorite German style pilsner. Amazing depth of flavor for in 4.9 ABV. Malts come through pure and clean. Grassy and light. Well priced. Clearly dated. hopwine (670) - brooklynzzzzz, New York, USA - NOV 3, 2014
Lightly toasted grain, rice, noble hop nose. Flavor is same, initial flash of saaz hops fades to a grainy sweetness, finishing woodsy/earthy. Simple, clean. ClarkVV (6825) - Boston, Massachusetts, USA - NOV 12, 2015
Draught at Matt’s in the Market, 11/4/15.Alphadelic (2249) - Portland, Oregon, USA - MAY 17, 2015
Lovely, bright, white grape juice color with a hint of copper. Good carbonation coursing upwards creating a white head with moderate retention.
Delicate floral hops, adding all sorts of aromatics, with light, fresh herbal accents. Just a touch of baked bread is noted in the aroma, with honey and light biscuit being prominent. Pretty much exactly what I’m looking for in a pilsner. Clean, with no flaw and not Americanized.
The flavor outdoes the aroma by a good margin, which is impressive. Fantastically tart white grape juice notes (a play between hop and the very lightly toasted grain) give way to a delicate honey sweetness that is in turn whisked away by tight carbonation as soft, floral hops linger pleasantly on the finish. Wonderfully attenuated and incredibly drinkable/refreshing. I found Pfriem to be much more successful on draught than in the bottle, which seems to be echoed by other ratings here. Didn’t find any soapiness that some mentioned, nor did I find there to be any excess of hop resin.
A fresh grassy nose. Crisp clean and balanced in the mouth with a silky texture. The flavor of the malt is wonderfully intertwined with the hop character and bitterness. This beer doesn’t have stages, it is one glorious flow of flavor that twists and turns intricately.

Pale golden with a white head. Aroma is floral, noble, light sweet. Medium, crisp body. Flavor is earthy, czech inspired hopping, light sweet floral notes. Finish is dry and crisp. Very enjoyable pils. neepsntatties (2019) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JUL 8, 2015
Bottle. Colour...golden straw with a slight haze and a moderately thick head. Nose...opulently floral and gorgeously hopped with notes of citrus and fir needles. Palate...distinctively crisp and pleasingly hoppy with generous hits of pure pilsener flavours. The mid palate flavours are as present as they are at the front and the finish is long and luscious. This pils has ruthlessly shoved aside all others that I’ve tried, both old world and new, and it has fast become my most favourite go-to pils. UPDATED: MAY 21, 2016 Damn near flawless! Light honey aroma, light blonde cloudy pour with slight head. Grainy but smooth. Not too much of a bite. A really classy beer, somewhat sticky. The carbonation is average, but it helps give the other flavors room on my palate. A real favorite of mine. joet (2648) - Wilsonville, Oregon, USA - APR 14, 2017
Golden clear and white foam collar, moderate spice, earth and for all, crisp and effervescent, very Quaffable. Delicious Marheb (5902) - San Diego, California, USA - MAY 17, 2015
Une belle clarté dans l’arôme et dans la superposition des céréales, chaque couche cache une fine membrane gazonnée, parfaite composition. Très croustillant, finale sèche, je me répète mais tout est propre.
