375 ml bottle with a date of 3-15-17. Nose is phenol Belgian yeast with a good amount of wheat. Pale malts, yeast, black pepper are the main players here. Light wheat with a bit of spicy peppery character in the finish. Fizzy, spritzy carbonation. Nice light tingle over the palate. Very nicely constructed. August 2017 - Bottle share at GBBF 2017, Kensington Olympia. As 'pFriem Saison'. Hazy yellow, translucent and still, foamy off-white head. Aroma is apple, banana, sugars. Body is light and frothy with soft carbonation. Taste is a little awash with froth, citrussy sodawater, some light spicy and chalky notes. OK. GBBF Day 3. Bottle. Light haze on this pale gold beer, good white head. Palate is light and dry and has a fine crispness. Light dry malts, sweetish. Decent limey floral mid. Mild spice. Dry and slightly spicy finish. Tasty saison but quite dry.
