UPDATED: SEP 3, 2017 0.5l bottle from a rewe near frankfurt hbf, 0.95€. pours a cloudy pale golden with a medium white head. aroma of sulphuric hops, hay, sour fruits, bubble gum, very weird, like a mix of pilsner and weizen. flavour of yeast, grass, apples, cinnamon. not bad but quite unusual.

Calisky (2994) - ALSACE, FRANCE - MAY 9, 2017
Courtesy of Jaghana, can 50cl . Jaune un peu trouble, légère mousse. Nez assez moyen sur la paille, un peu fruité. Gout leger et rapide paille, un peu vieux fruits et aigre. Corps aqueux. Fin avec très légère amertume.

BlueGaljoen (160) - FRANCE - FEB 5, 2017
Belle couleur jaune orangé, trouble, belle mousse, banane, orange amère (assez légèrement). Une bonne bière.

olsvammel (7257) - Örebro, SWEDEN - DEC 19, 2016
Sample at Örebro Öl & Whisky 2016. Fruity smell with foam banana, well overly ripe banana. Similar taste. A bit spritsy.

cmacklin (1247) - Lethbridge, Alberta, CANADA - SEP 14, 2016
500ml can. (5.3% ABV) Pours a slightly hazy golden with a medium, short lived, white head that laces. Sweet aroma of wheat malt, yeast, banana and a hint of lemon. Sweet flavour of wheat malt, banana, lemon and yeast with a dry finish. Light body with a watery texture and soft carbonation. Ok.

peponi (1925) - Hannover, GERMANY - JUL 11, 2016
Aroma: skunk, cloves, weak banana note. Appearance: hazy golden color and white head. Taste: medium bitterness, watery, empty, very weak banana notes, just like with lager yeasts. Palate: low body and high carbonation. Overall: Disaster weizen.

vipinvelp (4507) - Velp, NETHERLANDS - APR 19, 2016
Opaque yellow, white foam head. Strong citrus aroma and taste. OK beer. (Alzey 201604)

Final banane. Plutôt courte en bouche. Une bière de blé correcte.

GoufCustom (2083) - HONG KONG - NOV 17, 2015

500ml green bottle bought at Great Food Hall in Pacific Place, Admiralty.

Cloudy hazy pale straw golden colour; Three finger head with crumpety white foam which lasts for 4 minutes; Excellent sticky lacing with active carbonation; Fragrant aroma of malt, with strong wheat, tartness, banana, vanilla, floral, sugar, strong cloves, cinnamon, strong yeast, dough, lemon and light grass; Close to light sweet taste of light malt, with light metallic, light banana, wheat, light tartness, light floral, light vanilla, molasses, earth, cinnamon, strong yeast, light lemon, very light bitter hops and light grass; Mid to light body. Slightly slick palate; Mouth feel is solid light maltyness in a pretty thick background. Wheatyness is fair with light tartness. Banana and fruity ester is very light, earthy and spicy bready yeast prevalent. Moderate sweetness, clove and phenol in short supply. Low lemon to round. Okay… Hoppiness is floral, cinnamon, earth, lemon and light grass in nose and taste; Bitterness is fairly low for an abrupt, very low-astringent sweet and bitter finish; Fairly dry after taste. Malty and fairly easy to mouth.

Comments: This one is malty than most Hefeweisses, with good looks, nice spicy cinnamon aroma, but taste and palate is rather pedestrian. Drinkiable but nothing special.
