Dark and strong, nice rich roast grain flavor. Dark brown in color with fast disappearing head. Good all-around, but lacking that something extra to put it over the top.

From Cervezasespeciales. In Bavaria glass. Reading JHTP11 Ch23. Very nice moreish caramel taste that makes it very moreish and refreshing, with enough bitterness to not be cloying. Not much wintery though

Pours brown from the bottle and leaves a creamy head that soon dissipates. Lots of evident carbonation. Aroma is very weak overall, with roasted and alcohol notes. Taste is a nice mix of bitter and sweet, with the sweet dominating up front and the bitterness coming through near the finish. Otherwise, lacking in depth. A bit of alcohol near the end. Decent, but not worth getting again.

Caoba, bastante limpia. Poca espuma. Aroma cereal algo tostado, notas de caramelo. En boca mantiene, bastante cereal. Floja.

18.09.2014. 0,355l Can. Eckernförde, Germany. Dark brown colour with white head. Aroma of sweet malts and rather lively carbonated. Almost kind of burnt aroma. Burnt caramel or dark brown candy sugar? Focus on malt with soft tender hopping. That leaves good flavours of malts! Aftertaste is kind of short with little bitterness, but it leaves a pretty sharp malt flavour combined with a pretty good alcohol percentage. Its strong with pure malt flavours. Good bock.

Huge brownish head. Clear light-brown colour. Sweet, roasty honey aroma. Very bitter taste and palate. Reminds me of the notorious Elephant Beer. Okay.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein rötlichbraunes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch leicht röstmalzig, Karamell, etwas würzig. Geschmack röstmalzig, schokoladig, leicht würzig.

[Thanks to kevnic2008]. Bottle. Brown colour with an off-white head that quickly diminishes. Aroma is slightly toasted malts with light caramel. Flavor has notes of light toffee, moderate bittery. Mild bittery in the final with a dry mouthfeel.

I drink it this week end at a party with friend but I don’t like it much. The taste isn’t mine...
