Rated based on notes taken 19 May 2012 -- Shared by Cheryl and Zac. This was a very nice Golden ale. Better than a typical golden. 5000 (6862) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - JUL 28, 2012
Bottle: Dirty amber, large frothy sandy head, nice lacing. Grainy mealy aroma, a little bready. Bready on the tongue, malty, light graininess. Not as mealy or grainy as the nose suggested. Moderate sweetness, a touch of sweet soil on the backside. Body and mouthfeel are moderate. Malty mealy finish, moderate sweetness. Okay, but not the bright variety. bhensonb (15191) - Woodland, California, USA - JUL 6, 2012
Bomber from Harry & David in Medford, OR. Pours hazy amber with a 2 finger creamy beige head. Aroma of a light brown ale. Almost a hint of chocolate. Med body - at least while the carbonation surges. Flavor has a greasy nutty character with a little hint of chocolate. It finishes bitter - but it’s almost like a bitter nut. Maybe my imagination is getting out of hand. Much more pleasing to drink than a typical "golden". bpreo (2840) - Eugene, Oregon, USA - MAY 17, 2012
A mid-high amount of alcohol in this Golden Ale. A nice perk of course. Another new Brewery to me. It’s good, very rich, not as light and crisp as most Golden’s. Reminds me of the texture of a Bitter actually.
