bread, toast, earthy, golden, hazy, clear, white foam, light sweetness, lightly bitter, medium body, slick feel, lively-ish carbonation

Barreras (1689) - Diamond Bar, California, USA - JUN 22, 2014
Pours a light yellow color with a clean malt aroma. Taste is a bit hay like but mellow and very drinkable. Just enough hops to tickle the tongue that lingers a bit. The aftertaste is clean and simple, with a thirst quenching effect. Happy I got to try this on South Street in Philadelphia.

Tonkun (1306) - New Jersey, USA - DEC 3, 2013
Bottle. Cloudy copper pour with a big head. Biscuit, grass, citrus, yeast, spice. Big carbonation throughout with easy to drink medium light body. Slight dry bitter finish. Good

callmemickey (4561) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 23, 2013
Clear golden body, medium to thin white head, minimal lacing. Crackery cereals and light grassy hops. Medium bodied, appropriate carbonation, could be a touch drier, mellow bitterness in the finish.

I get this beer sometimes when kicking around Philly. If you’re in the city, you’ll see around. Its character has been sufficiently described, so I will say, give it a try if you’re in Philadelphia and don’t know what to get.

jcos (1855) - Maryland, USA - APR 19, 2013
Location/Date:Bottle on 4/18/2013.

Appearance: Pours a clear gold.
Aroma: Aroma of light bready malt.
Taste: Faint bitter, sweet breadines.
Palate:Light body

Summary: A decent beer for it’s style, with a funky label.

auerbrau (3206) - Ithaca, New York, USA - MAR 20, 2013
On tap at MOM’s - Doylestown, PA. Salt, mineral and light cracker aroma. Flavors are straightforward, simple and sharp. Sadly, the menu listed this as a Kolsch, so my perceptions were skewed, but the hoppiness was right on for a Helles, if a little generic. There was a slight harsh mineral bite to this that cut into the drinkability and the pale malt depth was a little shallow. Otherwise, clean and workable.

boxofrane (2559) - Spring City, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 27, 2013
Bottle from Wegman’s. Pours clear yellow with a medium sized white head, active carbonation. A nice looking lager. The aroma has a bit of grain, light grass, pretty tame but not offensive in any way. The taste has a nice little hop kick up front, some grassy flavors mid tongue.. and a dry finish. Not bad at all in the style.

UPDATED: APR 30, 2013 Softer with less bite than a german pilsner. . Nice session beer. Nice citrus flavors. Great day drinking beer. A beer that anyone good like.
