On tap at Fueland Fuddle, Cloudy honey color with a light foamy head, spicy and aromatic bitterness, but the finish is sweet, not much of a belgian yeast contribution though. DocLock (10836) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 11, 2010
Draft tonight at CAH. Pours hazy dark straw with 1-finger off-white head. Nose is pale malt, fruity, floral, spicy. Tastes pale malty, with a sticky resiny pineapply hop presence, some green peppercorn notes, tangerine, and spicy florals. Decent palate, and considered by me good enough to growler, although this one would have lost out to Stone IPA had CAH not had problems pouring the Stone. These days, it seems like every time I ask for a growler at CAH, there’s a problem with the taps, or the volume is too low, blah blah blah. michael-pollack (4959) - King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 12, 2010
Draught at TJ’s: Aroma of malt, hops, light fruit, slight caramel, and slight rye. Poured amber/gold in color with a medium-sized, creamy, off-white head that lasted throughout. Slightly hazy. Lightly sparkling. Ok lacing. Flavor is lightly sweet. Tastes of malt, hops, toasting, light caramel, rye, and a hint of coriander. Medium body. Average texture. Average carbonation. Malt and rye finish is lightly sweet. Better than I had expected. Quite drinkable. Not really a Saison. egajdzis (6673) - Pennsburg, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 11, 2010
